Fred Falke‘s latest release is getting a proper remix package and we’ve got a taste of what’s to come with the premiere of Amtrac‘s take on the iconic producer’s latest original. Featuring LA indie mainstays, Elohim and Mansions On The Moon, the remix from Amtrac channels their ebullient vocals and haunts them with his brooding synth lines. Ripe for the late night, this essential tech house tune will be available on February 26th via Pantheon Musique and will include remixes from Chrome Sparks, Oliver, Ferdinand Weber, FDVM and Wielki.
Today marks the beginning of a marvelous Fall season for LA (by way of Virginia) quartet Mansions on the Moon: their Fall tour is kicking off in LA, their new self-titled album is being released, AND…it’s Taco Tuesday. If that’s not the Tuesday to end all Tuesdays, then I don’t know what is.
Mansions on the Moon’s self-titled album is filled with their signature brand of synth-fueled, dreamy pop songs & glossy dance tunes that will no doubt make for a high energy, fun-filled live show. So brace yourself, America – Mansions on the Moon are about to blast off.
The artwork for the new single “Don’t Tell” by Mansions on the Moon perfectly encapsulates what it feels like when listening to the brand new track: it’s like floating through a turquoise/hot pink sky on a bed of cotton candy clouds. It’s a celestial, euphoric Disco Pop, alterna-lectro tune that sets the table nicely for what the band has to offer in the very near future. Mansions on the Moon will be releasing their self titled debut album this Fall. And, if “Don’t Tell” is any indication on what the album has in store, then excitement levels are sky high.

It’s been over a year since the LA based band Mansions On The Moon have graced the internet with their panoramic electronic/pop/rock. The four members, each equally talented, bring back the element of live instrumentation to the electronic scene. Soulful vocals illuminated by reverb liven up this electronic soundscape. It’s easy listening meets spiritually enhancing lyrics in this enchanting metaphorical tale about an awe inspiring relationship.
