Yesterday, our boys Josh & Angelo from PeaceTreaty sent us over a pair of previews of their upcoming remixes that will be hitting Beatport in the next couple of weeks, and we are impressed as usual. The first track is a hot n’ heavy new take on Moby‘s ‘After,’ complete with a light synthy Big Room build and a heavy bassline drop that I can’t wait to hear on some professional speakers. Already gaining support from Steve Angello, Hardwell, and Tommy Trash, this remix will be released on Moby’s Lil Idiot Records on Monday, October 31st. The second remix on our plate is Diplo & Oliver Twizt‘s ‘Go,’ and personally, I can really hear the always-improving PeaceTreaty signature sound in this one. This EP will be released on Mad Decent on November 8th, and you probably have heard it played out already by some people you may have heard of: Tiesto, Benny Benassi, Afrojack, Chuckie, and Mr. Aoki. Keep ‘em coming fellas!
If there is one thing we love to do @ GDD, it’s help the up-and-comers get a chance to showcase their fresh faced production to all of you dirty dancers and the EDM scene. Some of our good buddies – The KiD and Korova – from the LA blog Shifty Rhythms have poured heart and soul into compiling their breakthrough EP, The Red Panda Chronicles Part 1. Derived from personal experiences (including working directly for Mad Decent) and a culmination of their styles, this EP embodies influences from everything in electronic music today. Lucky for you, we get an exclusive breakdown of each track and the entire compilation, all being offered up for FREE. Here’s what they have to say about it:
Red Panda Chronicles Part I is the first of an indefinite number of our EP releases… citing influences including everything from tribal tech, to moombahton, to global groove, Red Panda Chronicles is a compilation of 6 tracks made for moving… in the club, in the car, in your bedroom. The title is not so much a reference to anything contained within the EP, as much as the most appropriate collaborative image of our art.We embody the Red Panda, and the Red Panda embodies us. So Get Shifty. Whenever. Wherever.
Our buddy, Dillon Francis, has come quite a long way since when we first met him. He’s one of the top Moombahton producers out there now, and working directly for the Mad Decent boss man, Diplo, doesn’t hurt either. Any time we get a chance for Dillon to play our events in LA we jump on it, as it’s always a lot more fun to get rowdy with the lads, which is why we’ve teamed up with Juscollege.com and DANCEiSM to bring Mr. Francis to the Key Club in Hollywood this Thursday!

As always we’re back with another crazy Thursday, this time featuring one of LA’s finest party DJ’s, Thee Mike B. He’s held down various residencies for some of the coolest parties in Los Angeles, currently manning the decks at Dim Mak‘s Cannonball Sunday’s. We’re also stoked to host Benzona, one of the geniuses behind Mad Decent Records!
It’s about to be a big year for Atlanta’s Daniel Disaster aka Heroes x Villains. After branding his own genre of ATL trapstep while at the same time garnering respect from the likes of Gucci, Waka, etc., Mad Decent front man Diplo commissioned HxV to put out an Atlanta EP and also host a mixtape for FKI.
It came as no surprise to me that Spinstyles would get over 1000 downloads in under 24 hours when Mad Decent released his mixtape ‘The First 48′ on Monday. It should also come as no surprise to you that he would want to give us first dibs at his closing remix of Khaled, Drake, Rozay, and Weezy’s summer anthem ‘I’m On One’ because GDD™ has supported him from the beginning, not to mention that you know we always fancy a nice exclusive. Wait, did I mention he’s celebrating his Birthday today? HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

GDD™ homeboy Dillon Francis has been on an absolute tear since the start of 2011 and has shown no signs of slowing down at all. It all started with the release of his Westside EP on Mad Decent Records and he’s only continuing to grow. This past week his status as one of Electronic Music’s brightest rising stars grew even brighter; his remix of Toddla T’s track ‘Take it Back’ was proclaimed “the hottest track in the world” by BBC Radio 1′s Zane Lowe during his weekly broadcast. In celebration of this massive event, Dillon has decided to release the remix for free via his Soundcloud. Make sure you check it out; he truly is making some next level tunes.
Our GDD homeboy Dillon Francis has been stomping out his own path in dubstep, wobble and moombahton, earning him a right-hand position to Mad Decent‘s big cheese, Diplo. With huge performances at SXSW, Miami Music Week and now several UK dates, Dillon has been on the warpath to gaining recognition worldwide. His newest track ‘Beautician’ is definitely a big room shaker for the spring festival season, having already earned massive support from Jack Beats (in the video above!) He’s giving the track away FREE for all you dirty dancers, as long as you head over to his facebook fan page and click that “Like” button one time. Here’s what Dillon had to say:
“Heres the song for you and everyone… it’s a big Flux Pavilion type dubstep song so I think it’s actually worth pressing the ‘Like’ button lol”
