Rising from the ashes of his former alias The KiD – Kyle De Penna aka Neo Fresco has debuted his new moniker with a 4-track self-titled EP, yours for the price of… well, whatever you want. Whether you can donate or just support the Mad Decent young gun, the Neo Fresco EP is yours for the taking. The release features sharper takes on the “trap” music craze, as well as the hypnotic techno driven ‘Red Pyramid’ (my personal favorite). On top of that, it also includes a previously unreleased VIP from former collab with Korova. All good things people, support our boy Neo Fresco and pick this one up.

If you haven’t noticed, our homie Clockwork has been climbing the ladder pretty quickly in the past 6 months, with multiple releases on Dim Mak, a remix on Interscope, as well as a supporting tour for Felix Cartal and an upcoming tour with Dillon Francis. He’s also just signed a two-track EP titled Titan with Diplo‘s Mad Decent imprint due out on August 7th, and this morning Henry sent us over “BBBS,” the B-side of the release that is an absolute bassline monster. Stream after the jump and make sure to catch Clockwork on Dillon’s Wet And Reckless Tour this fall. √+ Continue Reading

Trap House is in and there’s no denying it. Fusing Dance elements with Hip Hop sensibilities, Brooklyn’s Baauer is coming onto the scene strong with the Harlem Shake EP, released today on Mad Decent‘s sub-label, Jeffree’s. So far, ‘Harlem Shake’ has been big upped by Diplo, Brodinski, and Flosstradamus, and it was just recently included in Rustie’s Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1. We’re going to be doing a Spotlight feature on this dude soon, so keep your eyes out. Until then, download both tracks off of the EP for free below! √+ Continue Reading

Our good friends Botnek were kind enough to send over a preview of their newest remix they did of the Crooker’s track “Hummus” that came out today on Mad Decent/ Southern Fried records. Let me tell you one thing, this remix is huge. I highly suggest you check it out. It really shows how talented this up and coming production duo is.
Do not forget to check out the rest of the remixes from the EP over on beatport

If the rapidly rising Italian producer, NT89, isn’t on your radar just yet, it will be after you soak in his latest release out on Bad Life Records, Payne EP. Deep, dark, and grungy are the first adjectives that come to mind after listening to the 3 track EP, complete with two originals and a remix from Bang Gang/Mad Decent rep, Obi Blanche. Already picking up hype from Mumbai Science, Bobmo, Paul Chambers, and more, I’m pretty sure we might even witness the big guns like Tiga and Erol playing out this Future Techno masterpiece known as Payne. Pick it up on Beatport now.
