Our friends at iHeartComix, Mad Decent, and Fool’s Gold have joined forces for what seems to be THE party to attend this year at SxSW in Austin. Boasting by far the largest dance music lineup of the week, #SUPERPARTY will take place at the former Beauty Ballroom on Thursday the 14th and will be open to fans of all ages from noon until 2AM. We’ll, of course, be making this a stop on our upcoming #GDDRV tour, and after seeing this lineup, we couldn’t be more thrilled to attend our very first SxSW event.

“Grammy nominated french producer DJ Snake brings Mad Decent/Jeffree’s two huge tracks that are so big it is officially their first Double A-Side release. The first track “Bird Machine” featuring Alesia packs huge 808′s and an ever evolving bird whistle as the lead synth. Snake & Alesia have created an anthem that has been play’d out by superstar DJs Dillon Francis, Diplo, Baauer, Flosstradamus and many more! Snake follows up “Bird Machine” with “Together” an epic hardstyle homage with the wildest trap drop we’ve heard in a while.” Grab them both below!

The wild personality of “acid punk rapper” Mykki Blanco is getting a run of the trap. Our LA familiar Neo Fresco (Mad Decent/Get Shifty) has caught a hook in MB’s raw vocals on Hazeboogie and created a hypnotizing bootleg with stabs and rolls all the way to the hood. FUN FACT: The original was produced by Sinden for MB’s Cosmic Angel Mixtape!

ATL’s Heroes x Villains know Trap music. Not the kind of Trap your younger brother is making in his bedroom. It’s the kind of shit that Atlanta has born and bred for years. Put best by the Dirty South duo, “We’re only interested in making music you can fight or strip to.” Not a bad mantra whatsoever, and it seems to be doing them well as they’ve been commissioned by Major Lazer for an official remix of ‘Jah No Partial,’ due out on Diplo‘s Mad Decent next month. Big time roots n bass with this one.

After an amicable split in late 2012, Bot (ex Crookers) took to the studio to start a new chapter in his musical career; aiming his production sights at a new futuristic Techno sound. 11 brand new originals came of this self-inflicted studio lockdown, including a handful of new collaborations with Astronomar, TAI, David Heartbreak, and more. He’s put together a 24-minute teaser to give us all a taste of the new side of Bot, and it’s brilliant. Bot’s first release will be out this March on Mad Decent.
Major Lazer has become a movement. Amidst touring the world with their massive collective and spreading the noise, Mad Decent chief Diplo and his new partners in crime Jillionaire and Walshy Fire teamed up this year with UK bass aficionado Flux Pavilion to create “Jah Not Partial,” putting the Rasta spirit into a heavy dub driven anthem. The music video for the track premiered today, focusing on the life & times of the group at festivals and road trips far and wide. Oh, Mister Marshall…

Hailing from Stockholm, the 19th year old prodigal producer Phat Deuce as already dropped more than his name on the electronic music scene – and with releases already on Mad Decent project label Jeffree’s and Laidback Luke’s label Mixmash, he’s doing something right. As a token of gratitude for reaching 1k soundcloud followers, he is giving away his big bouncer “SHIT.” I know the name screams class, but fans of Diplo and Mad Decent styles will go ham for this one.

After an extensive party streak during ‘Halloweek’ we swore we would never drink again until, well – the very next Friday. So we know you weekend warriors are about to get on a hot one, so start things up with arguably the next “Booty Clap”. Miami duo GTA (JWLS + Van Toth) just released their newest single “Booty Bounce” on Mad Decent project label Jeffree’s. *Read their funny blurb below, and grab the FREE EP!
“Miami Bass has been murdered by the douches of South Beach for a few years now but two young Miami natives, JWLZ and VanToth aka GTA are putting Booty back in the bass of Miami. “Booty Bounce Feat. DJ Funk” leaves you unconscious wish visions of a fat ass swirling around your head, it’s been a wanted track for a while now since it’s been featured in Diplo’s sets all over the world. The B-side “Shake Dem” follows the same theme but this time adds tits to the equation, the rhythm of this tune is so catchy you’ll find yourself dryhumping something by the first drop.”
