It was the beginning of October, and remixes for Crazy P‘s ‘Changes’ began to surface. Amongst the plethora of good renditions that I heard, one stood out more than any other, and it was from a Bristol artist that I had never come across before — Lukas. As I usually do when I find good new music from an unfamiliar moniker, I check back catalogs, social media sites, etc., and after going about this with Lukas I wanted to know more. British Disco 5-some, Crazy P, released their 5th studio album, When We On, last month on 2020 Vision Recordings, receiving kind words and reviews from outlets all over the world. Dating back to 1996, Crazy P has been a solid name in the UK Deep House and Disco scenes. Their roots in 90’s House, Disco, and Soul set them far apart from any comparable musical project, and with five albums now under their belt, it’s very easy to say that their maturation is undeniable in When We On. Now, a month after the album release, Crazy P has released a remix of ‘Changes’ by Bristol producer and Buoyancy promoter, Lukas, and I have to say I’ve played it about 8 times already this morning. Grab the remix below, and make sure to pick up the full album over at 2020 Vision!
