Rusko – Hold On (feat. Amber Coffman) from Mad Decent on Vimeo.

Right, let’s get this week of a flyer with some tuneage. Last week the new vid for Rusko‘s ‘Hold On’ was unveiled, and due to some naughty slogan tees and flashing lights, MTV opted to ban it from airing. Luckily the censorship board here at GottaDanceDirty have let it slide, so we’re able to give it you in full.

London-based Night Sluggers L-Vis 1990 have just dropped their Forever You EP which they’ve been receiving mad props for. ‘Do You Remember’ is a trancey uk bass anthem reminiscing about 90s house music. Remove the vocals and it sounds more like Orbital than anything L-Vis have released before. The title track ‘Forever You’ is a lighter melodic combination of the UK funky sound and bass genres, I’m a big fan of this track.

“House music takes away all of your pain…”

If you dig these, then head over to Beatport and buy the EP in full.

Above is the controversial vid for Skream‘s ‘Listenin’ To The Records On My Wall’ from his forthcoming album Outside The Box, set for release on July 26 via Tempa. The video’s dope and the track’s fire, so I’m stoked for the new album. In the meantime, Skream’s just released a second free EP via his twitter. This guy’s production efforts are unmatchable; it’s pretty astounding how many tracks he puts out, while still touring and partying as hard as he does. Be sure to check out Magnetic Man, his side-project with Benga and Artwork; their forthcoming single ‘I Need Air’ is kicking up a lot of heat in the UK right now.
