Atlanta-based bass fiends, Heroes X Villains, have been at the forefront of the ever-growing Trap movement for a while now (Yes, long before you first heard that “Mercy” remix), and they’ve teamed up with LiveMixtapes.com and Trapaholics to create a documentary highlighting the evolution of the genre — from its early stages to its recent explosion as a fusion with electronic music. Along with the documentary, the ATL duo has put together an EP titled Run The Trap, which will see its release the same day as the doc on August 31st.
