To keep the darker side in the limelight, we are premiering our good buddy Circuit Freq‘s new EP “She’s Not Shy,” with a barrage of relentless remixes on his self-titled label. Here’s what CF had to say about the release:
“For CFR’s 24th release, we are dropping a deep and dark (don’t be scared) Techno roller called “She’s Not Shy”.
With a massive Intercontinental remix package including 2 virgin remixers (the UK’s Captain Magic & the Los Angeles based Beatslutz) as well as our favorite Parisian Benjamin Vial, Italy’s own Doc Trashz and Vegas native Lightknife.”
We have the Lightknife remix as an exclusive giveaway for you dirty dancers, just a taste of the depths from CFR. Check out the rest of the remixes and the original production below in the beatport player!
Who likes it dark & techno? We do. Introducing: Lightknife – The Las Vegas native who has been gracing the decks @ Control for years now, has emerged into the techno sway of things with huge productions that are seeing some serious support. His original tracks are already being played out by the likes of Congorock, Brodinski, LA Riots, , Deathface, Meat Katie, Zodiac Cartel, Zoo Brasil, Loops of Fury, and Calvertron (just to name a bunch). He has given us the exclusive release of his new collaboration with Mikey Francis (of the Afghan Raiders), entitled “Give Me Light.” Hold on to your skinny jeans because this takes electro into the depths of techno and there is no turning back.
It’s hard to believe that CONTROL is already celebrating its second birthday this Friday at the Avalon in Hollywood. Over the past 100 or so weeks, the CONTROL family has brought talent ranging from Rusko to Wolfgang Gartner, Dada Life to Claude VonStroke, and this week we’re showing that our 3rd year will be as strong as ever with a packed lineup featuring Felguk, Bingo Players, a live performance by our homies PeaceTreaty, Mr. White, and more! Here’s to another stellar year at CONTROL!
For this event, we will have only 200 spots on our guestlist so please RSVP 21+ names (no pluses) to firstname.lastname@example.org to be on our discounted list for the night, and it will be first come first serve. This week, pricing will be $30 before 1030pm. If you’d like to secure a ticket, you can purchase presales HERE, but make sure to hurry because they will sell out soon! You must receive a confirmation email back from me to confirm that you are on the guestlist, but guestlist confirmation does not guarantee entry.
