One of my personal favorites from Classixx‘s debut album, Hanging Gardens, has received the video treatment today, featuring a posh, nautical setting with Ms. Whang exemplifying all that is luxurious. Also included in the video produced by Urban Outfitters is a hilarious cameo from Tyler and Mike where they come into contact with the fabulous Nancy under the boat deck. Give it a watch!

May 14th is nearly here — the day that Classixx‘s long-awaited debut album will see release on Los Angeles-based imprint, Innovative Leisure. After receiving substantial acclaim for the first album single, ‘Holding On,’ Tyler and Mikey are back with the second single from the album, calling upon Nancy Whang (formerly of LCD Soundsystem) for a Pop-Funk original laden with dreamy vocals. ‘All You’re Waiting For’ along with the rest of the album will be available 3 weeks from today.
It’s been nearly 4 years coming, but Classixx will finally be releasing their debut album this May on Los Angeles imprint, Innovative Leisure. The long player will feature 12 pop-infused originals from the West Coast duo, including their top hit “I’ll Get You ft. Jeppe” that was released back in 2009. The long-awaited release will feature additional collaborations with Active Child, Sarah Chernoff of Superhumanoids, and Nancy Whang of LCD Soundsystem. Listen to the first single ‘Holding On’ over on the Innovative Leisure Soundcloud.
