A massive 12 song compilation dropped today compliments of Moda Black. The roster of artists appearing in the package is a dream-team of rising stars like Disclosure, Eats Everything, Nick Monaco, and Kill Frenzy. I’m hard pressed to pick a favorite out of the bunch, as the tunes vary from the deep house camp over to the peak-time warehouse vibe. Expect to hear a fair bit of this compilation this summer, especially since Moda Black’s label heads are none other than BBC1’s Jaymo & Andy George. Pick up a copy on iTunes or Amazon. Check out previews after the jump.
The up and comer from San Francisco, Nick Monaco, and the “Booty Clap” mastermind, Kill Frenzy, have teamed up for an awesome release on Moda Black. As an essential contender on BBC Radio 1, you can expect a superior tune with more than enough bass and grooves to satisfy any subwoofer happy listener. Mark your calendars for it’s July 19th release, and listen to it as much as your heart desires after the jump.
No Brainer Records boss, Malente, teamed up with Zero Cash of Television Rocks for a 2-track EP released the other week titled, I’ll Be There. At first glance, you might think that the title track would have a sentimental, Avicii-type sound, but there’s just no way Malente would go for that. On the contrary, the EP is a fantastic convergence of Electro and Techno, and our buddies known as Light Year add a fantastic Acid flair to it that hits the spot. Head on over to Beatport and pick up the EP which also includes remixes from Modek and Kill Frenzy.
