The mysterious, Whiiite, has finally released his debut EP, Whiiite Begins, today on Australian imprint, Vicious Bitch, and I have to say that the 5 original productions have greatly exceeded my expectations. Pulling sounds across multiple bass-heavy genres, Whiiite creates a tasteful, well-produced debut — showcasing a mastery of technique and skill in the studio.

The EP features collaborations with some great up and coming talent including Valentino Khan (“Paradise”) and Kids At The Bar (“Torment”), and swoops across Electro, Dubstep, Drumstep, and more with ease throughout the EP. Stream below and pick it up on Beatport.

Oklahoma City Electro House duo, Kids At The Bar, have come up with a hard-hitting answer to the massive track, ‘Cry (Just A Little),’ from GDD™ favs, Bingo Players, and they’ve been kind enough to give us the exclusive on it! If you feel like adding a little more pounding to this great summer track, give this a spin the next time you’re out. Also, head over to the Kids At The Bar Facebook page to check out if any of the last 4 stops on their current tour are near you.

In our 2010 Roundup, the good Dr. Schlongo & I included a section in our post entitled “Big in 2011: The Sounds of the Future”, which listed artists we predicted would have monster 2011s.  One band included on that list (and delivering thus far on our prediction) are dance rockers GlasnostGlasnost are releasing their new single, “Corridor”, via Robot Dance Records this week and the single includes a superior trio of remixers:  Midnight ConspiracyNightWaves & Kids at the Bar.  They’ll also be doing live shows @ at SXSW, so if you are gettin’ down at SXSW this year, be sure to catch them here.

Along with “Corridor” and the remixes below, be sure to go onto their Soundcloud and check out the stellar lineup of remixes Glasnost has done for Metric, Tiga, La Roux and many others (the Rick James one is super dope).  After the tuneage, meet the band and check out the interview…

I know I know. It’s about time we covered the new Ellie Goulding single. Believe me, I love it just as much as you. I was just waiting for the right time to give the lady the respect she deserves. Her new track, “Under The Sheets,” is absolutely fantastic; a great song with lyrics that give me the tingles that Imogen still does from Speak For Yourself.
The main reason I waited to expose this song on GDD™ is because I knew that there would be some superb remixes in its wake, and (not to toot my own horn) I was right.
Check ‘em. This woman is unbelievable.
