To officially kick things off in Colorado, we decided to start things off there with a proper bang!  In less than 2 weeks (2/2/2011), GottaDanceDirty.com alongside RedEye and ThisSongIsSick.com are bringing one of the most electrifying DJ’s in dance music today—Steve Aoki–to Boulder, CO at the Boulder Theater on Wednesday February 2nd.  Aoki is one of the few names that transcends both mainstream and underground dance music but his buzz has never seemed to die down mostly in part to his constant touring schedule, the success of his label Dim Mak (MSTRKRFT, Bloody Beetroots, PeaceTreaty, etc), and his recent collaborations with guys like Armand Van Helden (“Brrrat”), Sidney Samson (“Wake Up Call”), Afrojack (“No Beef”), or Laidback Luke & Lil’ Jon (“Turbulence”).

If you’ve ever seen Steve Aoki perform live, you know you will be getting your money’s worth—very few DJ’s put on as exciting performances as he does and we know this is going to be an awesome introduction to future events out in the Colorado area.

Lee Mortimer & Foamo- Superman (Streetlife DJs Remix)
Solid remix of Foamo and Lee Mortimer’s latest traffic. Definitely has a good dancefloor vibe
Melleefresh- Sex Slave (Paul Anthony & ZXX Remix)
Huge remix. If you are a fan of Afrojack you will definitely dig this track ALOT
Nirvana- Smells Like Teen Spirit (DJ G Ros Cold Remix)
Usually I am not a big fan of uploading remixes of bands because they always seem to be rather terrible. This electro mix has found my way into my ipod rotation and it slowly grew on me. Check it out
The Oddword- Hello Goodbye
The Oddword is just that an odd electro duo. If you havent heard them before check this track out, I am a big fan. I love their original style.
David Guetta Feat. Kid Cudi- Memories (Bingo Players Remix)
I know, I know, I know that everyone is sick of Kid Cudi and David Guetta but I love the bingo players and I think this remix is the best out of any I have heard

Cheers to a good weekend!

Today I bring you the newest remix by electronic heavy hitters Dada Life. Their newest remix is of English electronica artist Dan Black’s Newest track “Symphonies” which features none other than Kid Cudi (Shocker huh?? Seems like this guy is featured on every track these days, its getting out of control!). I personally like this new track, its a little different but still possesses at the end of the day all the qualities of a Dada Life track that we all have grown to love. Let me know what you think of it: If you like it check out more of their stuff on Beatport

Dan Black Feat. Kid Cudi- Symphonies (Dada Life Remix) ** 320 : )

Bonus: I came acrossed this remix of Soulico’s track “Exotic on the speaker” feat. Rye Rye the other day by the Swedish Producers Yeah! Woho! and I immediately became a fan. I really dig the grimy/Drum n Bass/Ravey sound they used.

Soulico Feat. Rye Rye- Exotic on the Speaker ( Yeah! Woho! Remix) ** 320

Another Video Music Awards presentation, another Kanye West tantrum.

Without even turning on my television on, Twitter delivered all the breaking news about Lady Gaga’s shocking performance with fake blood, Lil’ Mama’s awkward guest appearance with Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, and Kanye West pulling another Kanye West, this time interrupting Taylor Swift to proclaim, “Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!”

Typically, I wouldn’t yield an inch of precious blog real estate for an awards show, let alone one hosted by a channel better known for ‘reality’ television, but I wanted to make every reader aware of when Kanye first stormed the stage of the European Music Awards in 2006 in protest of the victory of “We Are Your Friends” for Best Video. The next day’s apologetic phone call to Busy P, then Justice’s manager, would ultimately spawn “Stronger” and the So Me directed promo for “Good Life”.
They say any publicity is good publicity, especially for a clown like Kanye, but when the first African-American president gets caught calling you a jackass off the record, you know you’re screwed.
Anyway, this was all supposed to tie in with Kid Cudi’s “Make Her Say” since it features Kanye and parodies Lady Gaga. Without further ado, here’s another Gotta Dance Dirty™ exclusive from the one and only Sammy Bananas.
Kid Cudi – Make Her Say (Sammy Bananas Remix)
For those of you who don’t want a Afrojack/Nadastrom facemelt, this remix picks up the tempo while maintaining the flavor of the original.
