The last time I was in Vegas it was 3am and I wasn’t quite ready to let the party die. Naturally, I wandered over to Marquee at the Cosmopolitan, and Kaskade was in the middle of yet another of his marathon sets that have highlighted a stellar 2011 in Las Vegas. If there’s anything better than confetti, champagne, classy ladies, and choons by a world-class DJ to be had at 3am in Vegas then let me know, but until then I’ll keep coming back to Marquee and Kaskade.
GDD™ wants to help you be a part of the experience, and so we’re giving away two tickets to his show at Marquee this Saturday, November 12th. On top of that, the one lucky winner will receive his recently released ‘Fire & Ice’ double-disc CD that was undoubtedly one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
All you have to do is head to the GDD™ Facebook page, ‘Like’ it, and leave a comment with why you think you deserve to win, or follow us on Twitter and tweet @gottadancedirty with why you want to see Kaskade this Saturday! (21+ only please!) Winner will be announced tomorrow afternoon so you have time to plan ahead!
We made it through the first half of the week! In the midst of all the “bro-step,” Minnesota follows a different philosophy in his music production. Aside from the common goal of electronic music producers wishing to create music that will get people dancing, Christian Bauhofer tries to “focus more on the melodic side of dubstep, and hopefully, make quality songwriting a more relevant factor in the genre.” (Facebook) It’s great to see producers holding on to ideals of music in a swiftly evolving genre that some say has lost touch with it’s roots. With that said, this brand new remix is definitely one of my favorite dubstep tunes as of late, so check it out and enjoy the good vibes. Don’t miss the bonus below!
