One of the best aspects of CONTROL is the unparalleled lineups that feature all levels of the EDM spectrum. This week, we welcome back the UK dynamic duo Plump DJs, along with the hard-hitting J.Rabbit, also returning to the decks. Supporting the night will be the NY-based Gosteffects, making his Avalon debut. Also making their mainstage debut will be IntoTheAM’s DirtyRock, and Dirt Monkey closing out the night. If you know how CONTROL is every week, make sure to arrive early because this event will reach capacity!
To get on the GDD guest list, please email RSVP@gottadancedirty.com (Please only add +2, nothing above will be honored) $15 before 11pm | Doors Open @ 9pm
After the huge success of his mixtape on Mad Decent, NY heavyhitter J.Rabbit has just released a two track EP on Play Me Records. The feature track ‘Ninja Step’, is a zen master’s worst nightmare. Continuing on the theme of his smash hit ‘Ninja Gaiden’, J.Rabbit turns up the ferocity for a peak-time destroyer. Buy the EP here.
I haven’t posted anything that grimy yet this year, so what better excuse than to re-introduce NY native J.Rabbit. Remember that uber annoying song way back circa beanie babies era ‘I’m blue a ba di da ba di’ or something like that. Ya, I wanted to forget about it just as badly as you did. Hark, I urge you to give it another chance as J.Rabbit gives it a thorough bashing of mayhem infused bass. I can say the same for his N.E.R.D remix. Top notch dubstep, sir. Topnotch.
B. Rich has just sent us over a remix of Tiesto that he did a few months ago, and I think he has labeled it correctly calling it “trancestep”. It kinda seems like you can add ‘step’ to anything these days and make it cooler, even trance. In addition to that track I also introduce you to J. Rabbit, a dubstep and DnB specialist out of the Bronx. Look for him to produce some great new tracks this year out on Delorean Music Group and Play Me Records.
