Ese’ & Zain have just released their Political Sirens EP for FREE on Soundcloud. The original mix is a gritty slab of techno that has a Harvard Bass/Autoerotique feel to it. The 2 remixes however send this tune to the main stage: the first being a techy club-driven rework from PTN, and an explosive moombahcore remix from Goseffects that rivals Alvin Risk and Nadastrom.

Gosteffects is back with more floor-shaking remixes for Kick The Bass: Remixes Vol. 2. While the Beatport exclusive release on August 13th is a few weeks away, and the iTunes and other digital outlets release on Gosteffect’s label AFTERLIFE won’t see the light of day until August 20th, Gotta Dance Dirty has an exclusive giveaway of the Black Matter remix of Tear The Club Up off the EP. All you have to do is hover over the artwork above and grab that net and catch that beautiful butterfly, pal!
And for those of us in Los Angeles mark your calendars for August 19th when our brethren at The Overthrow will be hosting Gosteffects at the increasingly infamous Lil Death Party @ One Eyed Gypsy in Downtown LA.

One of the best aspects of CONTROL is the unparalleled lineups that feature all levels of the EDM spectrum. This week, we welcome back the UK dynamic duo Plump DJs, along with the hard-hitting J.Rabbit, also returning to the decks. Supporting the night will be the NY-based Gosteffects, making his Avalon debut. Also making their mainstage debut will be IntoTheAM’s DirtyRock, and Dirt Monkey closing out the night. If you know how CONTROL is every week, make sure to arrive early because this event will reach capacity!

We have the pleasure of premiering a remix and video from the Los Angeles trio, Religion. They were brought on to put their innovative, raw energy to the Gosteffects tune “House Of God.” The pumping track provides for a type of anarchist vibe, similar to The Bloody Beetroots, and with the political video, it is a perfect match. In addition to this, I recommend checking out some of Religion‘s other tracks on their Soundcloud for great listening material. Enjoy.
