Something must be in the water over in Australia. The Sweat It Out! boys are always nailing it with not only the originals but incredible remix packages to boot. We’re proud to bring you the exclusive Dom Dolla remix of Benson’s new jam “Hot Mess.” The original (as the Sweat promo dictates): “It’s wonky. It’s swampy. And yet somehow, kinda poppy. And Lex Famous kills it on vox.” Dom Dolla takes the pop driven original and creates a jackin bass heavy trip thats fit for the club. His remix is our fav by far and we’re lucky enough to be rolling out the premiere… fans of Gorgon City, Motez and Duke Dumont will be all over this one.

The powerful vocals of Jess Glynne in her newest single “Right Here” is a stunner in its own, premiering on MTV UK and ranking up over a million plays on soundcloud. It takes a lot to top a serious hit, but the mysterious Slinger has answered the call and delivered a low end monster fit for the club. Fans of Chris Lorenzo, Disclosure and Gorgon City will love this – listen below!
London production duo, BILLON, bring the pump in their latest release forthcoming on Rinse. The track features a driving kick and sexy spirited vocals from Ashley as the chorus ushers in a crunchy wobble and for a bit of a Gorgon City effect. With support from The Magician in his latest Magic Tape, this isn’t one to sleep on!
Here for your listening pleasure is Gorgon City‘s latest production, “Here For You,” featuring that signature Gorgon thump and a garage-y bass synth line. They set the stage perfectly for an other worldly vocal performance from Welsh that brings about an air of summer versus their otherwise peak set club anthems. Available for pre-order, be sure to capture this pocket full of sunshine before the season enters full swing and be sure to bump on your way down to Indio this weekend.
It’s another amazing round of hot new tracks courtesy of your boys Stevie Ewald + aRod. And when we say hot new tracks, we mean it. All ten tracks in The Dirt #151 are fresh out of the oven. And the best part? They’re all free for your taking. A brand new remix by The Twelves (of The Knocks, no less!)…yeah, that’s in there. New originals from Cyril Hahn, Gorgon City, Figgy & Cory Enemy? Those are in there, too. Plus heaters by our homies Panic Bomber and Huerta, Tchami, and a ridiculous anthem by Mayhem, Antiserum, Gents & Jawns.
Get’em while they’re hot.

Warning: this will make you feel some type of way. As if my obsession with this track couldn’t get any more real, MNEK had to go and drop the four on the floor, insert an unmerciful amount of piano, and let his talented vocals run rampant on the track. Guaranteed to stir up every emotion you’ve got in your arsenal, grab the nearest tissue box and just let em flow…
Black Butter is just a one-stop shop for audio gold. Repping guys like Gorgon City, Rudimental, and Kidnap Kid, the London-based imprint is undeniably at 100, and Kidnap Kid‘s upcoming Stronger EP due out March 3rd is keeping it that way. Just revealed this week is the title track and A-side to the two-tune EP — a rainy day House number with some emotional vocals that personally give me an incisive Karin Dreijer Andersson vibe. Check it out for yourself below. √+
Recently sprouted NYC label, Lokal Legend, made themselves known in a big way last month with the debut release from Calgary-born vocalist, Kiesza, whose pipes (along with an ace House jam) brought “Hideaway” into the spotlight reaching the charts of Hype Machine and the kind words of Pitchfork simultaneously. Promised with the original mix was a forthcoming remix from Gorgon City, leading me to believe that they very well could have produced the original as well, but either way, it’s a ‘monster’ as advertised. The package will be available for purchase here March 23rd. √+

It’s hard to believe that it’s been eight years since Klaxons dropped tunes on us like “Gravity’s Rainbow” & “Atlantis to Interzone”, paving the way for The Bloghaus Movement last decade. Their new studio album (the band’s third and first since 2010), is set for release this Spring and will feature powerhouse acts like Chemical Brothers, James Murphy & Erol Alkan. With collaborations like those, Klaxons‘ message is clear in 2014: these guys are not messing around. Furthering this notion is the group’s hiring of red hot duo Gorgon City (whose current song “Ready For Your Love is #4 in the UK) to produce the new album’s first track. The song, “There Is No Other Time”, is a pounding piece of Indie Dance Pop that is sure to piss off their crazy core fans (just check out the scathing comments already) but will most certainly win them plenty of new ones. Klaxons are back. Tell your friends.
“There Is No Other Time” is out March 23rd via Akashic Records.
