FUNKAGENDA is taking CONTROL tomorrow night! Toolroom staple, Funk Farm owner, and one of my favorite DJ/producers at the moment, Funkagenda is a legend in the world of House music. His flawless blends of Progressive, Tech, and Electro are world-renowned and if you saw his earth-shaking set at Beyond Wonderland this year, you know that there is only one place to be tomorrow night. Besides the blissful hour and a half set from the Londoner, CONTROL will host an incredibly solid underbill featuring a DJ set from synthpop phenom Anoraak, an Avalon debut from our friends Savoy, and opening and closing sets from our pal ///BONES and Potty Mouth‘s TJR. Wow.
Please RSVP names to JONAH@GOTTADANCEDIRTY.COM to be on our discount ticket list for the evening. Please have all names submitted before 5:30PM tomorrow evening.

Hello GDD™ Nation! I hope you all had a killer weekend, and if you made it out to Beyond Wonderland in San Bernardino like a few of us did last night then I know you had a great one. Anyway, after listening to Hardwell‘s past couple of On Air mixes from the past two weeks, I felt the urge to share these BIG hour long sets with all of you. Each contains a plethora of big room, ‘hands-up’ house tracks, including some worldwide exclusives and new tracks from the likes of Avicii, Sebastien Drums, Funkagenda, Swanky Tunes, and more. Grab the latest one below and get March 10th’s mix with tracklist as well as a teaser for Hardwell’s unreleased track, Encoded, after the jump. I’m not sure if you’ve all heard the latest Funkagenda release, Budgie, that hopped on Beatport at the end of February, but as the other guys in the Penthouse can tell you, it’s been my favorite track for the past 10 days or so. The techy, Toolroom sound is produced flawlessly by my new favorite producer of the moment, and I can’t wait to hear more from Funkagenda this year. Today, the man was kind enough to release a free track on his Twogger (the name that he dubbed his website that is a mix between Twitter and a blog), and it is just too good. Get it while it’s hot.
• Funkagenda – Shinjuku (Original Mix) √+
PS - If you’re in LA, you can catch Funkagenda at Beyond Wonderland on March 19th in San Bernardino or at Playhouse in Hollywood on the 21st. If you’re going to be out in Miami this March, you can catch him at Fontainebleau, Ultra Music Festival, and the Surfcomber the last week of the month.
22 year old Dutch DJ and producer, Hardwell, has made quite a name for himself this year, collaborating with international star DJ Chuckie on ‘Move It To The Drum,’ as well as banging out some big original club tracks like ‘Molotov’, ‘Asteroid’, and ‘Voyage’. His international success bred by support from Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Judge Jules, and more has led this young musician to quickly establish his own label, Revealed Recordings, so I’d expect to see many more releases from Hardwell in 2011. Last weekend, the youngster was asked to produce a guest mix on Armin Van Buuren‘s ‘A State of Sundays’ show on Sirius Satellite Radio, and he was kind enough to let all of us have a listen. Hands up!
