Since recovering from a severe car crash, the Parisian future-house aficionado Tchami has announced his own record imprint called Confession, celebrating its launch with a free compilation and releasing one track at a time. Today they just dropped a new one from the mysterious producer known as Malaa, and its all the hood inspired house you could want from the French phenom.

In case you missed the first release on Confession, it came from the low end stylings of French Canadian artist ANGELZ:

The Aussie house gangster Hey Sam is back at it with a dangerous club flip of Ayo Alex’s new single Want it featuring Juicy Jay and we were all over it before we even got the nod on this premiere… here’s what the young gun had to say about it:

“AYO Alex hit me up to do this remix and I jumped on it straight away as I’m a big fan of his original version but it’s a little too heavy for my DJ sets. My version is more stripped back, bassline driven and I’ve found it has plenty of impact in the clurrrbbb.. Also stoked that Uprise Music have let me release this for free download.”

Inspiration can strike at any time, whether in a positive or negative light. The mysterious young gun known as JOYRYDE has channeled his anger into his production and creating a beast of a track built on a fusion of bass house and hip hop, with piping energy all the way through. The result is Hari Kari, the Japanese term for a ritualistic suicide method of Samurai – but today that deadly act comes in the form of a free download. Listen to his words and grab it below!

“Yo Rydrz. someone made me feel not so happy a few weeks back and this record is the result.. When the world fucks with you CRANK THIS SHIT and HARI KARI those f**xx… Stay fresh team.. J” – JOYRYDE

Tis the season for dark and moody electronic productions and Destructo delivers a mega tune just in time for his famed Fall Festival, HARD Day Of The Dead. He takes the Marshall Mather’s line “nobody listens to Techno” and adds a chugging bass line with heavy acid synths and the iconic kick snare combo to bring this monster to life. More of an homage to all the people who stuck with him while he did what he believed than a true techno tune, but that won’t stop it from getting plenty of air play this season, just you wait.

Straight from the man himself:

In case you did not know, I have moved to Berlin.
I am focusing on Curses when it comes to the clubs and Safer At Night, but primarily out here working on a full length under my own name less DJ oriented.
The departure from DTL has been a heartfelt one.
I’ll return one day, but my head is not there right now. I found myself going through all the unreleased tracks though, and felt it sad to leave them to the dust.
So….from grimy bass vibes to rockabilly surf bits –
I have uploaded a handful of these demos 2008 – 2013 for all of you to enjoy.

Grant Kwiecinski aka GRiZ has been on a musical warpath this year and has surprised fans by dropping a nine track mixtape, Chasing The Golden Hour PT. 1. The first of the multi-part series is being released on the artist’s own imprint, All Good Records. By drawing inspiration from the golden era of hip hop, the mixtape sees him retracing his roots – from early, J. Dilla and Hi-Tek influenced beats to progressive jazz fusion – vibes are high all the way through!

“I wanted to recreate the carefree good vibes you feel when it’s just about sunset on the perfect summer evening and everything is the most beautiful shimmering tint of gold. Chasing The Golden Hour is that magical moment, it is the cool breeze against your back, it is sweet summer swagger in music form. Enjoy the chilled out vibes :)” Griz

The productions of Craig Williams go a long way in my MP3 library – his remixes are known for taking dance pop anthems and morphing them into techno laced dance floor stompers. A hefty trait to be known for, to say the least. His latest is no exception taking Duke Dumont‘s 2015 fanfare “The Giver” and reducing it into it’s simplest four on the floor counterpart. Ripe for anytime past midnight, it’s sure to bring the ruckus to any club or festival setting.

It seems that Wax Motif is on to something massive. His first single “Krush Groove” on his forthcoming TRUE JOY EP for Mad Decent hit the interwebz hard and is being supported by pretty much everybody – then today just dropped a VIP dub + instrumental of his next single “Your Eyes ft. Totem” ahead of it’s vocal driven release. The vibe on this one is way more hip hop spirited yet anthemic in strength, ringing true to the Mad Decent mantra. Grab the freebies below, and be on the lookout for the rest of the TRUE JOY EP dropping August 14th!

Someone or something has been making a disturbance in the neighborhood… a STRANGER. In only the past few months, this mysterious producer has criminalized dance music as we know it, churning out severely low end driven house with elements of garage, bassline, breaks, fidget and ghetto tech. We finally caught the culprit, and sentenced him to the GDD™ Guest Mix, which he has delivered to us in the form of an hour packed with new originals and remixes and from himself and friends alike. Keep an out for Stranger, because you don’t know if he’s watching you.

Are fam at Main Course just cannot turn down the heat. Their co-captain BOT brings you ‘PLATES’ (out August 14), an 8-track house compilation from the some of the most underrated producers doing it today and the package is straight fire from top to bottom. We’re lucky enough to premiere the collab from Smalltown DJs (Fools Gold, Main Course), Christian Martin (Dirtybird) & Sabo (Sol Selectas) called ‘Sandia’. The result is a jackin ghetto tech monster – riding a rolling bassline with bells and whistles dancing all the way through. Here’s what the boys had to say about it:

“This collaboration was written in a Ford F150 on the Mountain Magic Tour as we drove through the hills & forests of interior BC. A “Car-llabo”. Mountain Magic is a snowboard & dj tour we do every winter in Western Canada. We were testing the tunes at each show & tweaking the sessions as we drove from town to town, so we really feel like they are an awesome representation of the times we had on MM 2015.”
