If you haven’t heard already, The Knocks & Fred Falke joined forces for a new track, “Geronimo,” that was released earlier this month. With those artists working together, it’s only natural for the tune to have a catchy, nu-disco flavor. However, we have the pleasure of premiering Aylen‘s remix, which is suited to those more fond of a harder side of dance music, electro-house. It’s a loud, party-ready track that has no shortage of grinding synths and glitchy sounds. Listen + download (available for 24 hrs. only!) the track below and check out the brand new video for the original “Geronimo” after the jump.

I’m not sure what’s been up with me lately, but I can’t seem to get enough French house. Thanks to Ben Thomas, aka L’Étranger, my needs have been satisfied for the time being. This morning, he put out this awesome rework of an Alan Braxe & Fred Falke collaboration, “Most Wanted.” With the addition of more electro-type sounds and his “French touch,” L’Étranger did a great job in putting a different feel to the track. Check it out and download after the jump.

Feel-good summer music is without a doubt some of my favorite music to listen to and The Knocks nailed it with their latest song, “Learn To Fly,” that they’re giving away for free on their Facebook. This tune will surely tide you over until our premiere of a Fred Falke x The Knocks collaboration coming next week, so listen above (in artwork), go like their Facebook, and download!

Theophilus London has recruited an all star lineup for his “Timez Are Weird These Nights” remix album with Scream, Crookers, Brodinski, Disco Pusher and many more on board.  The remix album also features the prolific and always enticing Mr. Fred Falke.  Nothing is more pleasing to the ears than seven glorious minutes of a Fred Falke bassline.

For those of you that were lucky enough to catch Fred Falke‘s set at Pacific Festival in Orange County this year, you’d probably say that he was an easy top 3 performance of the entire day. Unfortunately, I was at the merch booth slanging out tank tops and t-shirts, so I only got to catch about 10 minutes of his auditory delight, but that longing will be fulfilled this Friday as the Berlin-born, France-based producer comes to the Avalon alongside fellow French Touch master, Lifelike, and a live performance from Anoraak. Leave your fist-pumping homies at home for this one.

Please RSVP names to JONAH@GOTTADANCEDIRTY.COM to be on our discount guestlist for the evening. All names must be submitted by 5:30PM on Friday.
