The Netherlands’ own Ferreck Dawn and Franky Rizardo have teamed up with the singer, Torica, to create this new tune that comes as we enter the last quarter of the year. Previously thought of as a Sam Feldt track, “Baby Slow Down” has been getting played out at shows and festivals around the world, and it was even officially premiered by Danny Howard on his BBC Radio 1 show. It’s a vocal deep house number that incorporates piano, gritty synths, a solid bassline and Torica’s vocals as main driving forces of the tune. Listen and keep an eye out for the release on October 26th.

Last month, we heard that The 2 Bears will be releasing their debut album on DFA records on the 30th of January, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. The highly anticipated release will feature some of my favorite tracks of last year including ‘Be Strong,’ ‘Bear Hug,’ and their newest single just released this week, ‘Work.’ The ‘Work’ EP is incredible. Not only is the original an embodiment of all that I love about The 2 Bears, but it also comes along with top-notch remixes from Toddla T, Oliver $, Supabeatz, and Franky Rizardo. Stream below and go grab the whole thang on iTunes now.
22 year old Dutch DJ and producer, Hardwell, has made quite a name for himself this year, collaborating with international star DJ Chuckie on ‘Move It To The Drum,’ as well as banging out some big original club tracks like ‘Molotov’, ‘Asteroid’, and ‘Voyage’. His international success bred by support from Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Judge Jules, and more has led this young musician to quickly establish his own label, Revealed Recordings, so I’d expect to see many more releases from Hardwell in 2011. Last weekend, the youngster was asked to produce a guest mix on Armin Van Buuren‘s ‘A State of Sundays’ show on Sirius Satellite Radio, and he was kind enough to let all of us have a listen. Hands up!
