Toronto based Meech and Rynecologist‘s collaborative project RYME has delivered, straight from a different realm, their remix of Tiga‘s new chugger “Bugatti”. I can’t decide if this is techno for pop fans, or perhaps pop for techno fans – either way, it’s jackin and crunk as fuhhhhk. RYME‘s rework gives the original some bounce, a fatter bassline, and a thicker amount of overall driving energy. This is some jukin’ techno – DL it for free below!

Treasure Fingers and buzzing Atlanta singer/songwriter BOSCO have joined forces to bring you one glossy, swagilicious and savory summertime jam. BOSCO’s vocals are straight up BOSSAY, while Mr. Fingers’ keen hands serves us a delicious amount of cowbell intermixed with a plethora of grooves – which as a result, delivers a vogue-ready, street struttin’, feel good tune. “Names” is out 7/29 on Fools Gold Records.
Oliver made their Fool’s Gold Records debut back in January with the 4-track EP, Mechanical, which truly illuminated the diversity of the duo’s production. Not to be labeled as Nu Disco DJs, Oliver included the late-night, 100BPM mover, “Night Is On My Mind,” on the release, featuring pitched down vocals and a heaviness that many would deem somewhat uncharacteristic of the talented producers. Over 6 months later, the tune has been given a video treatment, and I must say, it’s absolutely brilliant. I’ll give you a few keywords that should tickle your fancy — LA Gear, mobile rave station, blonde in heels, and ass. √+ (obviously)
This song goes out to all the beautiful girls courtesy of Fool’s Gold Records and the Brooklyn production duo, Party Supplies. It’s nothing too complicated, then again, love doesn’t need to be. It’s the quintessential jam to help you groove down the street as all the gorgeous girls stroll past, and for the ladies, the perfect tune to compliment a good hair day. A confidence boost and pick me up all at the same time packaged up in a free download for your listening pleasure.
After hearing his debut track, “FSK,” in late January, we immediately became fixated on the latest mystery producer out of the UK, Vails, and had to ask him to put together a guest mix for us that really illuminated his style and sound. Two weeks later, the guy sent back 48 minutes of electronic bliss, featuring a range of electronica aimed at the heart of sophisticated dance music enthusiasts. Vails included two of his originals in the guest mix — the aforementioned “FSK” as well as his forthcoming release on Fool’s Gold, “Beaster.” Download it below. √+
Today, Fool’s Gold Records have put out three new remixes of A-Trak & Dillon Francis‘ “Money Makin’” — the feel good summertime jam released back in May. The trio of reworks hit the original from all angles; starting out with a Trap take from Oliver Twizt which adds some big time bass, high hats, and pitched down vocals. Barjo & Alban Lipp go all Electro, readying “Money Makin’” for a big room. Finally, 45 King gets comical — adding in some hilarious samples and a funky background beat. Buy the release on Beatport and stream all 3 remixes below. Continue Reading

The classic track from Suzanne Vega and DNA, ‘Tom’s Diner,’ has been one of my favorites since I can remember. The catchy vocals from Suzanne Vega married with the dance sensibilities from DNA made this track an absolute smash, and over a decade later, Sydney native Anna Lunoe has teamed up with Wordlife for a collaborative cover of the original — only this time taking it a bit deeper and a bit dancier. Anna and Wordlife put together two mixes of the cover — a shorter, to-the-point version from Anna and a longer, extended version from Wordlife.

Another great name making their prominence known early this year have been Jokers Of The Scene. The Canadian duo just last week released a techno shaped 5-track EP on Fool’s Gold Records called J0T5, with a seasoned RMXD EP on deck. Over the weekend we were able to sit down (on the internetz) with the Jokers to hear a little more about the EP and what else is new. So give it a read! You might just learn a thing er 2… Oh did I mention the exclusive remix they wanted to give the GDD readers just because they love you that much? SCORE.
