Tag Archives: Follow Me

There has truly been some magic coming out of HeavyRoc studios lately. Our friends, Follow Me, gave Equal’s new track ‘Lost In The Evening’ a deep & disco take that is quite infectious. To top that combo off, the vocals are from Gary Jules, the voice behind ‘Mad World’ in Donnie Darko. Quite the special tune and perfect for a cruise.

Brookyln’s Follow Me step up to the plate to bring you a dance floor amplified rendition of Johnny Stimson‘s funky record, “Daddy’s Money.” The goal was to create something that allowed them to get back to more of an 80’s sound, a sound that originally boosted them into the spotlight. What comes to fruition is a funkadelic track that tells the tale of a burned out female that’s strapped for cash and impossible to please after Daddy’s money runs dry, something Gen. Y’ers are experiencing all to frequently.

Last month, HeavyRoc Music released the first single ever from new Brooklyn duo, Follow Me, and the vocal Nu Disco jam has received some serious attention over the past 3 weeks, racking up almost 90K plays already via the guys’ Soundcloud. Today, we’ve teamed up with our pal Rogue Vogue over in Chicago who has put his unfailing, magical touch on “Something About You,” with signature Rogue Vogue House vibes and deep vocal cuts. Pick this one up and get out in the sun this weekend. √+
