Following up on the release of their debut EP, Gold, Santa Barbara’s FMLYBND unveils the official video for one of my favorite tracks on the EP, “Come Alive.” Sharing the stage with Modest Mouse, The Faint and Twin Shadow at the U.S. Open of Surfing, the burgeoning indie-electronic band was given an opportunity of a lifetime for one of their very first shows, and they delivered accordingly. The video captures their high energy performance along with the warm summery vibes that align perfectly with FMLYBND‘s outstanding music.

Billboard’s “Next Big Sound” artist, FMLYBND, has been making noise in the indie-electronic world with their debut EP, Gold, and their hit single, “Electricity,” that reached #1 on the Hype Machine twice. Already compared to acts like M83, MGMT, and Passion Pit, the six-piece Santa Barbara-based band is certainly well on their way to shape scene with their evocative fusion of organic and electronic elements paired with exceptional songwriting. Check out their Gold EP below and catch them at New Noise Festival in Santa Barbara on October 19th. They will also be on tour with the KROQ supported bands Kieve and Bad Suns in November.
