For the latest episode of their Fixtape series, our friends at Solé Bicycles have recruited Chicago’s Autograf, in anticipation of SnowGlobe Music Festival taking place later this month over NYE. Both Solé and the Autograf boys have been on a tear this year, so it makes sense for them to join forces as the year comes to a close. With tracks from SNBRN, Moon Boots, Zimmer, Gryffin and more, Autograf’s 50-minute mix provides a great warm-up for what you can expect from the trio during their anticipated SnowGlobe performance. Enjoy above and download it here!
“The beauty of traveling the world is experiencing contrast. One moment you’re on a beach in Malaysia, the next you’re on a snowcapped mountain on Lake Tahoe. After spending the last couple weeks in the sweltering heat of places like Thailand, India, and Singapore, it’ll be a baptism of sorts to finally experience a proper winter at Snowglobe Festival. We made this mix with the idea of contrast in mind because without darkness there is no light and without silence, there is no music. So what a beautiful world it is to have contrast.” – Autograf
Our friends over at Solé Bicycles just dropped off the latest installment of their fixtape series, and by golly we couldn’t wait to get our grubby paws on this one. It’s CLEARLY summer in Australia. Transient and euphoric, yet funky, the vibes will plop you down next to a pile of sand, a water source, and curve the corners of your mouth upward in this month’s fixtape. The Miami Horror boys, based out of Sydney, have really put something special together for us. We can’t stop listening, and we’re not sure if thats because we really like it, or because these tones are quite mesmerizing. Probably both. Most tracks are easy to listen to, yet provide just the right amount of funk in your step while the silky smooth vocals elevate the mind and body. Enjoy with a Cocktail. Do less, love more.
A new fixtape and quite a different vibe than that of what we’ve been expecting from the incredible series strung together by our friends at Solé Bicycle Co. Coming at you live from a sweaty, dark basement somewhere in the heart of Venice, CA, this one is sure to burn some nostalgia into your holidays. No one is doing it better than the Bixel Boys right now.
From Bixel themselves: “We wanted to make a tape that was less dance oriented and brought you back. Nostalgic vibes on this one. Enjoy.”

This month our friends at Solé Bicycles have partnered up with our pals over at Thump, the killer new electronic music and culture channel from VICE, to bring us a truly special fixtape. The godfather of funk, the french king of disco, the Ed Banger legend himself, Breakbot laid down close to 40 minutes of slow burning grooves. Although this tape is timeless, we highly urge you to throw it on now.

The French lord, otherwise known as Yuksek, has bestowed quite the composition of musical bliss upon us. He comes at us with a slew of timeless gems from the past, along with some tunes from the future, including his remixes of ‘Empire of the Sun – DNA’, & ‘Black Yaya – Paint A Smile On Me’ out on Partyfine now. The overall vibe of this tape encapsulates the end of our summer here perfectly. Euphoric tones & strong beating rhythms drive us strait into fall. Thanks to Solé Bicycles for yet another gem of a mixtape.
Another tape, another silky smooth hour from our friends over at Solé Bicycle Co. This time LA based friends Classixx were on fixtape duty and they crushed it in the most sexy way possible. The boys over at Solé have taken us on yet another musical journey. If Lionel Richie was fueled by propane, sported reebok pumps and night crawled the mean streets of Venice, you’d end up with something that sounded a little bit like, well… let’s just say we were lucky enough to capture the radness in this month’s Fixtape. Solé Bicycle Co. is pleased to present this month’s Fixtape, from LA’s own,Oliver, the electro-funk super group of Oliver Goldstein & Vaughn Oliver. They’ve been making waves with their deep undertones, infectiously funky riffs, and intergalactic space beats, sure to make your mother shutter. Whether you prowl dark alleys hanging out in various voodoo circles or spend your free time spreading funky mayo on your friend’s sandwiches, this Fixtape is for you. Strap on your helmet and chuck the deuce, because you’re on the highway to hell.

The Fixtape series by Solé Bicycles is quickly becoming a staple as a go-to for monthly mixtapes. The tasteful selections of artists amongst the moniker, “Music to ride off into the future to,” is right up our alley. Previous Tapes have included Tropicool & Treasure Fingers and although this tape series is young, we believe it to prosperous and keep you grooving for a while. This month’s timeless selections come from none other than Portland based RAC. They seamlessly create a beautiful flowing atmosphere with that classic RAC touch.
