In 2011 Attaque made a huge splash in the EDM scene when he released his hit single, When Light Falls and as a result the relatively unknown artist became the buzz of the underground. This month Attaque dropped his newest release, a full-length entitled, When Light Falls, an album that holds up to even the most scrutinizing expectations. The record is an hour of pure energy; with rolling bass lines, dark techno leads and drops that will make your heart stop.

The dynamic duo of Erol Alkan and Boys Noize has never once disappointed. From their first collaboration in 2009, Waves/Death Suite, to their undeniably massive Avalanche/Lemonade EP, Erol and Alex always find a strong sense of synergy in the studio. This April, the two heavyweights have come together once again to release a new 2 track EP on Boys Noize Records, produced using only analog instruments (respect). ‘Roland Rat’ and ‘Brain Storm’ will hit Beatport on Monday, April 2nd and can be picked up on vinyl April 9th. If the rapidly rising Italian producer, NT89, isn’t on your radar just yet, it will be after you soak in his latest release out on Bad Life Records, Payne EP. Deep, dark, and grungy are the first adjectives that come to mind after listening to the 3 track EP, complete with two originals and a remix from Bang Gang/Mad Decent rep, Obi Blanche. Already picking up hype from Mumbai Science, Bobmo, Paul Chambers, and more, I’m pretty sure we might even witness the big guns like Tiga and Erol playing out this Future Techno masterpiece known as Payne. Pick it up on Beatport now.
Attaque is a new name to the Techno scene, yet his repertoire of original productions sounds like he’s been around for years. The young producer hails from Colchester, but he has now moved his studio to Brighton where he’ll hopefully be banging out more Techno tracks like the one we’re giving you below. Gaining support from the likes of Erol, Tiga, Brodinski, and Fake Blood, this lad has a good chance of being a new ‘One to Watch’ for the rest of 2011. Grab his latest track, ‘False,’ released on London’s Bad Life label below, then head over to Soundcloud to check out some other great Techno from this promising up and comer.
