Southern California do we have a treat for you! The Heavy Bass Champions of the world will be making their way over to the left coast to give Los Angeles and Orange County a double dose of the Trouble & Bass stylie. On Friday night, the T&B crew will take the reigns of CONTROL at the Avalon with sets by Drop The Lime, AC Slater, Star Eyes, The Captain, and Samo Sound Boy. Word is there might even be a tag team set at the end of the night…

Don’t worry if you can’t want to make the trek up north on Friday, because Drop The Lime and AC Slater will come down to you! Luca and Aaron will be playing at Sutra nightclub at Triangle Square in Costa Mesa on Sunday night.
Please RSVP names to jonah@gottadancedirty.com to be on either of our discount ticket guestlists. Please specify which event you are RSVPing to by saying CONTROL/BATTERY or LA/OC. Both events are 18+

If you haven’t heard yet, AC Slater has teamed up with Dell Harris on a project called AC & Dell. It features music written and produced by AC Slater and vocals by Dell as well as a few guest appearances from Drop The Lime, Ninjasonik, Megan Thomas, and more. The guys have been kind enough to give you the entire album for free as well as let you see the exclusive for their brand new video for ‘Right Now.’ If you can make it out this Friday, make sure to catch AC Slater’s set as Dell will be hopping on stage to do a few of their songs live. Here are a couple of my favorites from the album. What do you guys think about their new venture?

What a fitting party to coincide with the temperature of Southern California this week! This Friday at the Avalon, T&B posterboy Drop The Lime will be making a stop on his “HOT AS HELL” tour, which is promoting Luca’s new track being released this November on Trouble & Bass. Accompanying the heat will be two of Dim Mak‘s finest: the hard-hitting Toronto tag team known as AutoErotique and the young gun who has been stickin’ it for the past year, SonicC. Prepare to experience some serious perspiration, and leave your cleanliness at home because this week is going to be a dirty one.

Please RSVP names to JONAH@GOTTADANCEDIRTY.COM to be on our discount ticket list for the evening. All names must be submitted before 6PM on Friday.
Pricing:
• 21+: $10 before 1130pm
• 18+: $15 before 1130pm
Set Times:
10:30-11:30pm – Figo
11:30-12:45am – SonicC

Heavy Bass Champions of the World Vol. I
is the Trouble & Bass crew’s first release of 2010 and it also marks the beginning of a new series of releases from T&B that are strictly made for the dancefloor. The first volume features Drop the Lime’s newest release titled Doomsday Device. Doomsday Device is described as ” a post apocalyptic death rave dance floor destroyer.” I can definitely see this song destroying a dancefloor nearest you in the close future. Check it out:

Sorry for the extended hiatus everybody. I had a holiday break full of tequila, border police, and snow bunnies, and I have to say it’s wonderful to be back in school. I hope you all had an excellent new year and got some sweet strange ass at midnight. But now, it is a new decade and why not celebrate the big ’10 with us at the Avalon in Hollywood with Drop The Lime and Designer Drugs this Friday? Tear down those Christmas lights and throw away that gross egg nog, it’s time to rave again.

The GDD™ room will be going off this week with our good friend Taylor from kidcityblog making a special guest DJ appearance as well as ///BONES, Mr. Anderson, and your favorite British DJ in Los Angeles sweetFA.
Please RSVP at jonahdancesdirty@gmail.com to be on the discount ticket guestlist (10$).
Remember these?

So I just finished a pretty gnarly midterm, and so I thought, “Why not spread this joy by sharing some pretty sweet new songs I’ve been jamming to on my bike ride to class?” So here they are. Think fast!
Benny Benassi vs. David Bowie – I Am A DJ (Alex Gopher Remix) sorry for the low quality here (160)…still a great song though.
Eddie K – Who’s The Hardest thanks to our good friend Taylor at kidcityblog.com for this nasty dubstep dilemma.

Thought I’d do a quick post for you guys this week as I’ve gotten some great stuff in my inbox over the past week or so. There’s a little bit of everything in here so check them all out and see which of them are up your alley. Have a good Veteran’s Day tomorrow!
Amazing housey track here. Just put me in a good mood. RIP MJ. Check out evenflO’s website here.
You know what to expect here and you get it. Mean track. (cheers sean)
Play this in your living room at 5AM when it gets weird.
Another feel good uppity dubstep track from the talented Jakwob.
Hope you enjoy this wonderful cornucopia of different sounds and give a high-5 to someone you don’t know tomorrow. Never know, it could make your day.

GDD™ favorites Classixx never disappoint us. Their remixes always bring a smile to my face, usually slowing down the chaos and adding in a warm weather, sun is shining, groovy vibe. If you have been living under a rock, or are a little slow to the draw and don’t have that much classixx, I highly recommend you arm yourself with all of their releases. If you’re trying to woo some cutie patooties, make a CD chocked full of Classixx remixes and drop it off with a wink. Beyond this point GDD™ isn’t responsible for any ill-conceived children, accidents, or sexual diseases…just good music.
If you missed our previous interview with them, check it out here
Tyler and Michael are also about to embark on a gnarly tour all throughout Europe and other parts of the world; we wish them the best. You can find all their tour dates on their myspace.
