Our LA friends the Bixel Boys have been on a warpath this year with production, giving away literally everything in a stellar strategy of exposure. They finally can celebrate their debut EP, landing themselves a release on famed aussie label Sweat It Out! Records. The 2 tracks are energy driven through the concoction of deeper house, hip hop and techno but with a big room appeal (Red October even samples the classic AOL 56k dial up sound). Fans of everything from Diplo to Digitalism to Duke Dumont will be all over these… listen below and be on the lookout for more to come!

In 4 short days, Digitalism will be kicking off their anticipated brand new live tour across the US with the first show on Tuesday night at the Independent in San Francisco. Coinciding with this new tour is a new mix from Jence and Isi, featuring some good ol’ Techno from guys like Zombie Nation, Sharooz, and Harvard Bass, as well as their new remix of Bloc Party’s “Truth” forthcoming on Toolroom. Listen below and head over here for full US tour schedule.
Good news this morning from the Hamburg duo, Digitalism. The guys will be embarking on a brand new live tour starting next week in San Francisco, hitting a total of nine cities in less than two weeks. Jence and Isi reached back to their Rock roots for this US tour, booking smaller, live music venues like the Independent in SF, the Bluebird Theater in Denver, and the legendary Troubadour in Los Angeles. Additionally, the guys have two upcoming remixes for Bloc Party and The Rapture on Toolroom, which leads us to believe that Digitalism is coming back to their Rock/Indie meets Electronic origins. Excellent.
The folks at Epiphany Presents are putting on quite the party next Thursday, Feb. 28th at Exchange in Downtown Los Angeles, with sets from Digitalism, Switch, Classixx, Rhythm Monks, and more. With a lineup fit for a main stage and a venue perfectly apt, THE LOT will be an amazing night and we have 2 pairs of tickets to give away. Enter below through Punchtab for your chance to win! Winners will be announced next Tuesday. Buy tickets here and find more info on the event hereContinue Reading

A few days after our interview with Guy Gerber, we shot back on over to West Hollywood to meet up Jence and Isi from Digitalism at their hotel on Sunset Boulevard, Luckily we caught them just near the end of their stay in Los Angeles, and just before their smashing appearance at The Central. We’re sure any of you who were there that night remember how seriously killer the evening was, it’s not often you get to catch Digitalism DJing to such a nice intimate crowd in America… Continue Reading
