This year our favorite festival has a very special addition that we are all very excited to experience. The Yuma Stage is a new feature at Coachella that is stacked with some of the top DJs and legends of the deep house scene. To some this is probably everything you have dreamed of; while to others the names and the music might be unfamiliar. Not to worry though because I have crafted a mix that hopes to encapsulate the vibes played throughout the Yuma the next two weekends. Take a listen to prepare yourself for Coachella’s newest stage. It’s going to be a glorious two weeks!

There is something very appealing about these new G-House tracks starting to surface. Deep house basslines and hip hop vocals blend together seamlessly, bringing a fresh new funk to the dance floor. Tapesh is on the front-lines of this new style and recently released his version of Tyga’s hit Rack City. As always…Listen. Download. Enjoy!

Following their chart-topping collaborative EP release Careless, the infamous slime of duo Jack Beats has teamed up with label collective OWSLA once again with an evolved sound (that we’re really happy to hear). Off their forthcoming EP Somebody To Love, their first single off the release “Just A Beat” is a deeper and minimally executed (almost garage-like) production that still rings true to the signature Jack Beats sound we’ve all grown to salivate over.

Our very own Troy Kurtz brings you a truly unique mix of solid house grooves in his signature sexy suave, to commemorate his momentous relocation from Miami to LA. May this be a sign of more great things to come. Welcome to your new home, bud.
Slap & Tickle resident DJ Santiago Caballero delivers an extremely tasty first installment of his Sanduguera mix series. Clearly inspired by the late nights that we’ve spent manning the decks together at Miami’s infamous Electric Pickle, his mix delivers a dollop of deep basslines and wondrous house tunes. For those of you in Miami this Halloween, you can catch Santi warming up for The Magician on October 31st at Bardot. Click here for more info.

Last March, Beckwith rocked the deep house community dropping Subway EP, his first full release on Anjunadeep. Craymal EP is Beckwith’s second release with Anjunadeep and it’s beyond strong. The EP has three huge tracks that all stand on their own, with each one showcasing it’s own unique vibe.

Lately I have been feeling a little under the weather, but I haven’t let it get me down, with the right music I firmly believe you can make the best of almost any situation. One of my favorite tracks, Klanglarussel‘s Sonnentanz has helped me do just this, keeping my positive mood intact. Sonnentanz is the perfect jazzy tune to accompany your mellow Sunday mornings; gorgeous and groovy, I guarantee it will put a smile on your face.

After their massive hit, Don’t Change The German duo Rhode & Brown are back with their newest EP, Only a Deer Can Tell. The EP is fueled by its deep bass lines and incredibly catchy and energetic melodies. I highly recommend picking this one up folks!
At the moment I’m really vibing to the first track, Get High.

UK bass monger Hostage has been a GDD favorite since our inception. From 4 am warehouse anthems to growling sub-bass monsters, he’s produced a wide variety of tunes that speaks of his talent. He has a forthcoming release called the Creep EP on Herve‘s new label named ‘Deep Thrills’. While they might appear more subdued than some of his other releases, they all pack that fat square bassline that’s distinctively UK and also incorporate 2-step/garage influenced percussion lines that have me itching for it to drop next month.
