It’s friday and we’re getting the weekend on the up turn. Our Miami familiar Damaged Goods has created a monster of an original alongside friends Ruen & Cosmo. The title “Turn’t Up Apocalypse” really rings true to what this production encompasses – taking you on a big room ride of anthemic builds, thunderous drums and menacing drops all the way through. Fans of GTA, Deorro and Laidback Luke will be all over this one, grab it below!
Our very good friends Charles I& Tre have joined forces for a debut collaboration titled, Satellites. A project that has been months in the making, Satellites is a true balance of talent between the two producers — a release characterized by finesse and a shared love of good ol’ fashioned Techno. While the guys originally planned to shop this baby around to some labels, they kindly decided to give it away to the masses for free today. In addition to 3 brand new originals, the Satellites EP also features 3 remixes from a trio of other GDD™ brethren — Casino Gold, Craig Williams, and Damaged Goods. Download all 6 tracks below.
After recently winning Dim Mak’s Autoerotique WTF Remix contest, the Miami native and Overthrow brethren Damaged Goods jumped right back on the chains and took on Kaskade‘s newest single “LLOVE”. For those who love the melodic tones of the original but wanted it rougher on the edges – this version takes an anthemic build up and drops you straight into a hard hitting pipeline. Eat your heart out.
In praise of the madness about to ensue in the desert for the next 2 weekends, I have created a celebration to the structure that will serve as a haven to much of the music that has built GDD™ to what it is today. I present to you the BONESSAHARA 2012 MIX, built on some of the biggest tracks in dance music as of current, along with a few surprises from the future. Coachella Music Festival gathers the spirit of music as a whole, but I know what you dirty dancers need to get that festival blood pumping as you voyage out to the desert lands of Indio… IN SAHARA WE TRUST.
Zedd – Shotgun (Sahara Intro Edit)
Nari & Milani vs. Zombie Nation – Atom 400 (MAKJ Edit)
Tommy Trash – Monkey See Monkey Do (Nom De Strip Remix)
Felix Cartal – Black To White (Clockwork Remix)
Nicole Scherzinger – Right There (John Dahlback Remix)
Nicky Romero – Toulouse (Tommy Trash Remix)
Swanky Tunes – I Wanna Be Your Dog (Original Mix)
Cedric Gervais – Molly (Original Mix)
Hardwell vs. Gorillaz – Feel Good Spaceman (Clockwork Edit)
Gotye – Somebody That I Used To Know (Damaged Goods Remix)
???, ??? & ??? – ???
Martin Solveig – The Night Out (A-Trak vs. Madeon Remix)
The spirit of festival season is upon us, and with Coachella around the corner what better to hype you dirty dancers then with a BIG remix of the Gotye hit “Somebody That I Used To Know” that is more likely to be heard roaring from the SAHARA tent than the outdoor stage. Our friend and Overthrow brethren Damaged Goods took the indie anthem and put it into big room overdrive. Free Download?BOOM.
Damaged Goods and Sydney Blu, two of Miami’s most recognized big-room DJs, are releasing a booming anthem today in the form of Devastating, which is out on Sydney Blu’s label Blu Music. Certainly not a track for the warm-up DJ, but if you need some peak-time juice at a 1000 person rave, then head over to Beatport and sort yourself out. They’re also giving away two versions of another one of their songs called Giving It Up, which should do more to keep you buzzing around all day than 10 shots of espresso.
Muchachos and Senoritas, we are proud to present the first official release of our own Troy Kurtz, alongside his Overthrow brother Damaged Goods. If you’re a tropical, rave, moombahton fan – or just a fan of the Cabo San Lucas sleaze in those dirty clubs (you know what I mean), then boy do we have a treat for chu. We are premiering to you the exclusive 320 download, so break out the tanning oil, chips & salsa, and the 2 for 1 cervezas because its time to CABO FUEGO. ¡Aye, Tan Sucia!
Over the next few days, we’ll be posting all the vital information to the events that we’ll be throwing in Miami next week for Miami Music Week. Once again, we’ve teamed up with OVERTHROW for the officialunofficial closing party of Ultra 2011. And yes, it’s at a full nude stripclub called Gold Rush. And yes, Miami badman and multiple DMC champ Craze, along with ATL trenchstep dude Heroes x Villains, along with a bunch of other DJs including GDD’s own BONES and myself will be playing everything from Juvenile to Joker. Pre-sale tix are $10 and you must be 21 to see the tata’s. Infamous photographer Bronques of lastnightsparty.com will be capturing the debauchery, so if you drink too much and forget what the stripper who gave you a lap-dance looked like, we’ll have documentation.
I’ll leave you with a good idea of what will be happening as featured in Caligula‘s music video for their track ‘Light in the Dark’ off their EP titled ‘The Rise‘
Oh, and there’s probably gonna be some Moombahton in there too.
