Today, Oliver Heldens, aka HI-LO, has emerged with a new edit of Da Hool’s 90’s classic, “Meet Her At the Love Parade.” In recent times, Oliver has included the track in his live sets and Heldeep Radio show, so it’s been making the rounds in fan discussions across the internet. On this HI-LO edit, he’s revitalized the original’s familiar synth work, and laid down both breakbeat and house rhythms to give the tune a bass-filled foundation that’s become a trademark touch of the new alias. Check it out below. The edit’s set for release on September 28th.

A great thing about electronic music and its classic anthems is that they are will never be forgotten thanks to the bootleg remixes, refixes, and re-rubs that revive these tunes to be celebrated again and again. The infamous festival staple “Meet Her At The Love Parade” from Da Hool is a prime example for this rebirth, with countless versions having been created over the years. Earlier this year, the Swedish duo Savage Skulls gave us a preview of their own re-rub, and today the boys sent us the full track to giveaway to you dirty dancers.
