LA producer, CRNKN, has released his first official EP this week on the free-release imprint, Nest, putting together six tracks as a concept EP with a diverse menu of genres that leans far from the music he was making just a year ago. The EP, The Clearing, shows a truly creative side of CRNKN that sets him apart artistically from his peers — a rare quality amongst the publish now/think later mentality that is the dance music community as of late. From Flume-ish chillout to Gesaffelstein-like Techno, CRNKN tells a story with The Clearing that has us fully entertained.
