CONTROL (7/13) ft. ADRIAN LUX, OTTO KNOWS, GTA, WHITENOIZE, MAKJ


Kicking off this weekend with some serious heat, CONTROL @ Avalon brings you another full fledged lineup to the decks tomorrow night. Stockholm’s young gun Adrian Lux leads the way, alongside fellow Swede Otto Knows and Miami duo GTA (JWLS + Van Toth). And don’t sleep on this weeks support – opening the night is SF disco club smashers WhiteNoize and the big room phenom DJ MAKJ will be closing things out for the night. GDD™ Premiere: AC Slater – Go Rambo (July DJ Mix)

Our pal AC Slater just sent over his latest July mix titled, ‘Go Rambo,’ and unlike your easy, breezy Nu Disco summer mixes that have been floating around the past couple months, ‘Go Rambo‘ fuels your urge to get sweaty to some bass from none other than the Heavy Bass Champion. AC has included a number of his own originals, remixes, and edits in this bad boy — just the way we like it. GDD™ presents CONTROL w/ Dev + Yung Skeeter

Dev is the 22 year-old American singer and songwriter best known for her bouncy Electro-vocal style on collaborations with top tier acts like David Guetta, Timbaland, Afrojack, and The Cataracs, and this Friday she’ll be performing a live set at CONTROL at the Avalon in Hollywood. Supporting DJ sets will come from Yung Skeeter (AKA Skeet Skeet), James Egbert, Mr. White, GDD™’s Burn Unit, and Sam Hiller.

Nick Weiller stepped into the scene as part of the American leading drum & bass trio Evol Intent, while also keeping the comedically wonderful mashup moniker Ludachrist before evolving into the bass peddling one man army known as Bro Safari. This Friday, he rolls into town with his BROS GONE WILD tour, showcasing the moombah-loving antics of Tittsworth, LAZRtag, ETC!ETC!, Valentino Khan, and gLAdiator. This Friday, the legendary techno maestro Zombie Nation will be making his debut at CONTROL, alongside heavy hitters Will Bailey and Revolvr. All the way from Brazil – the massive DirtyLoud will be gracing the decks, along with the chi-town heavy-hitter Lucky Date and only the second ever shot by the mysterious WHIIITE.
