If you’re in LA this Friday, come out and see Dillon spin in the Honey Lounge at CONTROL at the Avalon. In the mean time, check out the video of his set he did for Red Bull at the Boiler Room in London.

Who likes it dark & techno? We do. Introducing: Lightknife – The Las Vegas native who has been gracing the decks @ Control for years now, has emerged into the techno sway of things with huge productions that are seeing some serious support. His original tracks are already being played out by the likes of Congorock, Brodinski, LA Riots, , Deathface, Meat Katie, Zodiac Cartel, Zoo Brasil, Loops of Fury, and Calvertron (just to name a bunch). He has given us the exclusive release of his new collaboration with Mikey Francis (of the Afghan Raiders), entitled “Give Me Light.” Hold on to your skinny jeans because this takes electro into the depths of techno and there is no turning back.
It’s hard to believe that CONTROL is already celebrating its second birthday this Friday at the Avalon in Hollywood. Here’s to another stellar year at CONTROL!

Los Angeles’ biggest Friday night electronic party is back in a big way and ready to have a crushing year in 2011. In 2010, CONTROL at the Avalon brought some of the biggest, baddest, dirtiest parties to Hollywood, and you better believe we are going to keep the momentum going this January. For our first night back, we will be featuring a huge genre-mashing lineup, with a headline performance by CONTROL vets, Stanton Warriors, who will be supported by SonicC, Reid Speed, Dan Sena, and ///BONES. Let’s bring the CONTROL family back together this Friday…
As of this moment, we will be doing presale tickets only as we are working on how to make our guestlists more effective in the New Year. Check back before Friday to see if we will have a guestlist this week, but to eliminate confusion, buy tickets now and pick them up at will call Friday night.
They’re back! It seems that it would have been more fitting to have LA Riots play last week, as thousands of unsatisfied kids were shuffled out of the Avalon due to the fire marshall shutting it down, causing riot police and a ghetto bird to join the Friday night party. But fear not dirty dancers, the problem of last week has been fixed and the party will go all night long this Friday with Chris Lake and Blu Jemz joining Daniel and Jon on the main stage. For those that bought tickets last week, the people of the Avalon have issued this statement…
