CONTROL (10/5) ft. TREASURE FINGERS, BURNS, CODES

This Friday @ CONTROL brings another trifecta of talent, showcasing huge club disco tracks each with a distinct flavor. We welcome back veterans Treasure Fingers and Burns, and get an Avalon debut from Slow Roast young gun Codes. The local support couldn’t be a better pairing – an opening set by our very own Burn Unit, and the lovely Brazzabelle to close out the night. *This event will reach capacity early, so please RSVP below and arrive before doors to guarantee entry!

GDD PREMIERE: CHROMEO – TENDERONI (CODES REMIX)

Following up on the Night By Night’ remix we brought you by Wax Motif, we bring you another 2012 recreation of a Chromeo classic… Slow Roast Recs phenom Codes has brought the anthemic ‘Tenderoni’ back to life with a serious big room overhaul. Although you can’t beat the original, this is by far the best remix I’ve encountered (out of the masses we’ve heard over the years) with gritty leads and a bouncey bassline that brings back memories of the best of Crookers – circa 2009. The appeal stands refreshing too,  Codes remix shines light on the recent surge in big room popularity and the few that stand tall among the–  well, just god awful. This “Tenderoni 2012″ is a home run, and we’re proud to offer it up to you dirty dancers. Enjoy!

Dances With White Girls – It’s About The House + Exclusive Download

“Real thugs play house music” is the motto tied to the Philadelphia born and raised Dances With White Girls and it’s for good reason.
