The Exceeder phenom Mason has been on a tear lately with a revival in house cuts, and his first release for 2017 is no substitute. He’s teamed up with our favorite Aussie gang from Sweat It Out to bring you his Everybody EP on their sub-imprint Club Sweat. Here’s what the boys had to say about the tunes and the dude himself:
“He’s one of our regulars.”
Joe The Bar Tender – said about Tom, a guy seen often at the bar.
“See him out here all the time. He’s a local.”
Sarah The Surfer – said about Jason, a guy that surfs at her local break..
“She’s here all the time.”
Grace The Fruiterer – said about Jacky, a girl that buys fruit from her all the time.
“He’s at the top nearly all the time.”
Johnny The Beatport Dude – said about MASON.
NOW – while these all may be hypothetical statements based on imagined conversations rather than actual conversations, imagination can often be based on truth and for sure, our boy MASON, Holland’s sweatiest export, is what one might call a Beatport chart hustler, a guy that hits that Top 100 on the reg – a guy that makes tunes as well as Germany makes cars, a guy that’s had number ones and countless top 10s and top 100’s – a guy that has an EP right here, right now, on our beloved CLUB SWEAT.
so….without further adieu.
Here are two little puppies that will no doubt be doing what he does…….Johnny The Beatport Dude – u know what we mean.
Can’t end the year without a little more sweat! Our aussie brethren label Sweat It Out has dished out the Club Sweat Workout Series Volume 2, the follow up compilation featuring some young guns from our side of the planet – a devilish medley of bass driven belters and upfront house music. Here’s what the Sweat crew had to say about the release:
Hard to believe Sweat It Out began nearly 9 years ago (feeling old – ouch). At the time, we debated whether the origin of the name was because we used to eat hot thai food on a Tuesday with the goal of sweating out the weekend (weird that we didn’t think this should have been done on a Monday but I digress), or whether it was because of the amount of sweat AJAX would let out whilst dj’ing.
What we did agree on was a love of sweaty basements and music for such surrounds. Our WORKOUT SERIES epitimises exactly that.
Here we present 5 tunes that are made for clubs of around 200 people, with sweat dripping off the ceiling and heads turned slightly sideways. Shall we say, where we feel most at home.
Big love to SMALLTOWN DJs, RUMPUS, J.WORRA, COSELLA, FROM DROP TILL DAWN, LYNDON KIDD, and last but not least, BRILLSTEIN – you all killed it!

Frames is about to give you some serious sounds to step to. Literally, Step2 is the latest release from the young producer, and we’re giving you the exclusive first listen. This one is a cool little crossover, house vibes at a little slower pace. An elegant yet tough bassline wrestles with a variety of sounds, so its a little tough to stay focused on one segment for too long. Doesn’t matter much to me, everything Frames throws at us is trying to force me out of my seat. Stream the track courtesy of Club Sweat below.. loud!

Our now Amsterdam-based Canadian familiar Poupon just dropped his debut release on Sweat It Out’s Club Sweat label and it is a vibe machine. “Want It All” pairs the melodic vocals of Alicia Keys with a deep driven bassline and the product is baby making house at its best. Listen below and grab it today on iTunes!

Put this on, take your lover, (or lovers), and go smile and dance in a field.” Listen below and get down with yo bad self!
