Superstar DJ and top-tier producer Chris Lake is taking his most talented ‘Rising Music’ DJs on a month-long tour that will visit 9 exclusive locations across North America.
The ‘Rising Fall’ tour will not only include some of the best live performances by Chris Lake, TJR, GTA, and Nom De Strip, but will also allow 8 aspiring DJs across the US to star as the opening act for each of the shows. One overall winner will also get the unique opportunity of playing and recording alongside Chris Lake at Wynn Las Vegas’ New Studio and XS Nightclub.

After months of anticipation, TJR has released the REAL preview to his upcoming single “What’s Up Suckaz,” due out on Chris Lake’s Rising Music on July 22nd. Similar to “Ode to Oi,” the new single from TJ represents the bubbling Melbourne Bounce sound, with rolling, crunchy synth breakdowns and an energy level fit for the Tasmanian devil. A very big tune that you’ll hear all over the place this summer and fall…
Last year’s collab track “Shake & Bake” from Nom De Strip & Bones spread like wildfire after support from the likes of Diplo, Tommy Trash and Chris Lake helped skyrocket its exposure – so far as to catch the attention of Australian diva Kylie Minogue, who loved it so much she insisted on recreating it to be her own sexy original. With the approval of NDS & Bones and the help of Chris Lake, the new version was just released on Nom’s soundcloud yesterday (written by The Dream), with already an incredible response at over 150k plays.
Check it out below, and be on the lookout for its official release!

IT’S BOOTY TIME!
Kevin Chapman of the former duo No Body has take up the new moniker FYOR and has been on a warpath of production since then, sending his powerful electro house straight for the main room. To kick off his debut, he has released his first “BOOTY PACK” – featuring (4) bootleg remixes of Chris Lake, Eva Simons, Deth Hertz, and No Body. Who doesn’t love a FREE booty?
After an epic saga of a weekend @ Coachella Music Festival, the GDD™ crew return from the desert with a battered brain of new music to better prepare for the massive summer to come. This week, our very own Bones and Toks have answered the call to serving you with a dirty bundle of tunes fit for the festival-goer in all of us. Whether from artists that played Coachella, or just some of the key sounds that embody the stages, this team has it down for you and each specific playlist. Get your sweaty wristbands on them and let a’ rip.
Our good friend Mr. Pegnato, or Hot Mouth, just released his debut EP, Habits, on Rising Music last week, and we couldn’t be happier about the great response it’s received thus far. The pair of tracks, ‘Good Habits’ and ‘Bad Habits,’ are two big time Progressive House tracks perfectly fitted for a main stage smash, and with a name like Chris Lake fully supporting the EP on his own label, I’m sure we’ll be hearing Habits, good or bad, this upcoming summer season.
The golden tune is finally coming out next week. After months of mystery and anticipation, TJR is unveiling ‘Funky Vodka’, his soulful swingin’ ruckus of a jam. Prepare for what I’ve BEEN calling (since last year) one of the best tracks of 2012. Set to release on Chris Lake’s Rising Music on February 20th, I can’t wait to see the widespread success and support (not to mention the remixes that will follow!)

Chris Lake and Jesse Rose. That’s all I needed to hear to get pretty darn excited for this week at CONTROL. On top of that, two of our favorite residents, Rifat and Brazzabelle, are also playing on Friday night, so we’re looking at a solid lineup for another solid week at the Avalon in Hollywood.
Please RSVP names to JONAH@GOTTADANCEDIRTY.COM to be on our discount ticket list for the evening. Pricing will be $10 before 10PM and $15 before 11PM. All names must be submitted before 5:30PM on Friday evening.
They’re back! It seems that it would have been more fitting to have LA Riots play last week, as thousands of unsatisfied kids were shuffled out of the Avalon due to the fire marshall shutting it down, causing riot police and a ghetto bird to join the Friday night party. But fear not dirty dancers, the problem of last week has been fixed and the party will go all night long this Friday with Chris Lake and Blu Jemz joining Daniel and Jon on the main stage. For those that bought tickets last week, the people of the Avalon have issued this statement…
