A little over a month ago we posted a remix by newcomer Caveat. Well the young producer is back with a vengeance, and this time it’s with the debut of his first original. “Bring the Bass Back” is a funky combination of heavy bass, driving synth, and spliced vocals that is sure to be a dance floor hit. You’ll even be able to catch Caveat live soon on the Dada Land tour bringing support to Dada Life and 12th Planet, dates below.
As the dance music scene gains more and more popularity it seems like the talent continues to get better at a younger age. The 17 year old Caveat is the newest name on the scene with his remix of “Make It Bun Dem” by Skrillex and Damian Marley.
Turning this Dancehall, reggae infused track into a top Electro banger, Caveat has continued his streak of top notch remixes. Don’t believe me, check out his remix of Dada Life – Happy Violence and Feed Me – Strange Behavior (bonus free download on his Soundcloud). With support already coming from the likes of Tiesto this young producer is definitely one to watch.
It’s that time of the week for The Dirt, and for this 63rd issue, I want to introduce to you our newest member to the GDD™ team, Korb. We’re providing variety and of course quality, to help bring you into the weekend. Check out the streams and commentary after the jump, then go to the GDD™ Facebook page to download the .zip with all of the tracks!
If you know GDD™, then you’d know how much we support two of the nicest guys in the industry, Olle and Stefan of Dada Life. The remix pack of their newest single, ‘Happy Violence,’ will be released this upcoming Monday on their own brand new label, So Much Dada Records, and the nice guys have sent over one of the remixes on the EP from 16-year old producer, Caveat. Not too much info on this Electro youngblood yet, but I’d say he’s got something good going on here.
