One of my biggest delights in life is seeing a boss lady hold her own amongst a crew of dudes. Enter Louisahhh, the reigning queen of Bromance, a record label literally named with dudes in mind. After moving from down the street to the depths of Paris, I finally caught up with my fellow short-haired princess in Miami. After a lengthy and insightful lunch at The Standard, discussing the antics of the Bromance crew to the politics and progression of the industry, riding bikes and Avicii carts around South Beach, and an astoundingly ludicrous trip to Miami’s most infamous Hard 2 Leave strip club party, I left WMC as charmed as ever by one of the most soft-spoken yet commanding females I know. That could only mean one thing: get her on board for a LOLerview!
Check after the jump for a really delightful edition of For The LOLs, and make absolutely sure to check out her upcoming EP on Bromance, Transcend, out on the 22nd of April. It’s amazing.
There’s something viciously nostalgic about french house producer Panteros666 latest LP Hyper Reality. This new album released by one of my favorite labels, Bromance Records, seamlessly blends 90′s hardcore rave samples and dark house vibes, unquestionably inducing you into a convulsion of no return. Hyper Reality converges into a musical concept like no other, there’s no doubt an alien abduction took place and the message is… DESTROY!
Panteros666 aka Victor Watel has spent years developing his cyber-pscychedelic aesthetic, cleverly molding genres from acid techno to future bass, and even some southern rap influences. Expect drone-type vocal samples, steady bass lines, apocalyptic synths and just an overall invitation to another dimension. Definitely not an album for the faint of heart. Check out the Hyper Reality mini mix and what Panteros666 crafted for his live shows… the future is here!

I know it was released in January but I have been loving this mix and decided to share it with all the GDD readers who may not have grabbed it yet. With Brodinski on the decks you are guaranteed a good time and that’s why his Fabriclive installment has been such a biggie. Containing a plethora of musical genres, the 75 minute mix features artist that have influenced Brodinski over the past two years. Brodinski commented on the mix, stating, “I tried to include every track that has change my life over the last two years going from slow motion Techno to R’n'B, from backroom music to Acid House. ”
