Just over a week ago LA-massive Mad Decent dropped a five-flush remix pack of Elliphant‘s “Only Getting Younger feat. Skrillex” on their Soundcloud and like some of the best things in life that shit is free.99! Predictably all of the tracks are heavy hitters, ranging from big-room horn-heavy bounce vibes from TJR and Brazzabelle to the moombahton-tempo squaks of the Milo & Otis remix, to the sped-up DnB halftime version from DJ Vice & Justyle, to my personal favorite sort of experimental melodic trap/beats version from NGTMRE and Imanos. Regardless of what your style or taste is, this is a classic encompassing Mad Decent Party Pack that not only showcases a festival-ready range of styles but also a great look at some of LA’s biggest and baddest upcoming talents.
You can preview the whole pack below and download them over on the Mad Decent Soundcloud.

Next up from LA’s own DJ sweetheart Brazzabelle is her funk-flexed, max-ed out house slammer Drop The Beat featuring vocals from Zashanell. With big room stabs and a giant build, Drop The Beat is filled with energy ready to set crowds into a frenzy. Newcomers Wood Holly takes things to a more tech house tempo, tinging the remix with 808s and a nice little “party alarm” at the drop. Finally, Chris Loren makes a progressive house remix that takes “Drop The Beat” in a full circle around the modern trends in house music.
Drop The Beat was just released on Into The AM’s self-named record label today, you can stream the tracks below or purchase the EP here.
After a successful week in Miami and a recent Marquee residency kick-off in Las Vegas, French DJ/producer extraordinaire Joachim Garraud will be packing up his keytar and heading to CONTROL at the Avalon in Hollywood this Friday for an as-per-usual, high-energy performance. Supporting Joachim is an all-star cast of talent including Bostonian trio, Hot Pink Delorean, UK Electro maestro, Foamo, as well as bookend sets from Paparazzi and Brazzabelle.
Please email names to RSVP@gottadancedirty.com to be on our discount guestlist for the night. All names must be submitted by 5:30PM on Friday.
Back once again the bodacious Brazzabelle brings a banging, booty-bumpin’ boner bonanza of bounce for you all to blast out of your Buicks, Beamers, and Bentleys. All alliteration aside, this mix will keep the party going at the office, in the car, on the run, or through the night. If you remember her Double Rainbows Mixtape from a little over a year ago then you know what kind of treat you’re in for. So preview the mix by clicking the artwork above, or just download the mix below. Don’t forget to peep the track listing after the jump, as well as a preview for her spankin’ new track Elevator (Going Up)!
As summer chugs along and the dog days approach the temperature only continues to rise out here on the Best Coast. Expect a massive heat wave to hit this Thursday though as the mad Belgian scientists known as Mumbai Science descend upon the Mile High City to start their mini 2011 Summer Tour that will see them lighting up clubs from the Rockies to the Bay to the Border as they drop festival firestarters like ‘Ancova‘ & ‘Gold‘ in intimate venues like our very own Versus (August 4th!)
Having the chance to see this rising act, that now routinely plays for 1000s, in relatively small venues is an experience and opportunity you probably won’t have again as their ascent to stardom continues, so make sure you get yo’ tickets for one of these 7 gigs while you can! Along the way they’ll be getting support from longtime GDD™ backed Canadian John Roman, Aussie insane-asylum-escapees Bareback DJ’s, the lovely Brazzabelle, our very own ///BONES and various local talent in each city. More details including dates and ticketing links (and some tunes) after the jump! Oh and if you don’t remember our interview/mix with Mumbai, peep it over here!
Chris Lake and Jesse Rose. That’s all I needed to hear to get pretty darn excited for this week at CONTROL. On top of that, two of our favorite residents, Rifat and Brazzabelle, are also playing on Friday night, so we’re looking at a solid lineup for another solid week at the Avalon in Hollywood.
Please RSVP names to JONAH@GOTTADANCEDIRTY.COM to be on our discount ticket list for the evening. Pricing will be $10 before 10PM and $15 before 11PM. All names must be submitted before 5:30PM on Friday evening.
GDD™ personal fave femme fatale Brazzabelle just sent us over a smashing new tech house monster that’s been driving the tweeters and subs in The Penthouse crazy for the last 24 hours. With all apologies to the neighbors below, I just can’t help myself from playing this song over and over again. Have a listen for yourself and then make sure to grab the download, then go to “iTunes > Controls > Repeat > One.” Enjoy.
This week, we bring you an AMAZING night of CONTROL at the Avalon in Hollywood with an entire lineup of GDD™ homies. The kind Dutchman, Bart B More, will headline the event along with the fastest rising young producer in the Electro House scene today, Porter Robinson. In support will be LA Electro-duo Cold Blank, as well as an opening set by the lovely Brazzabelle and a late-night closing set by our own ///BONES.
Please RSVP names to email@example.com to be on our discount ticket list for the evening. Guestlist space will be limited, so to ensure entry you can purchase presale tickets HERE but they will sell out before Friday. All names must be submitted before 5:30PM on Friday night. Whether you buy tickets or are on our guestlist, make sure to ARRIVE EARLY as this event will reach capacity.
21+: Discount tickets will be the same as the presale tickets ($30)
Today I have tons of tunes for you, so grab a mix from Bart, a mix from Porter, and some other goodies after the jump. Continue Reading
Happy almost Halloween! It’s that time of year when girls dress with less, guys try to come up with some type of clever yet relevant costume, and ‘candy’ takes on a far different meaning than when you were munchin’ those Reese’s at 10pm after a serious trick or treating session in the 3rd grade.
Well dirty dancers, let me tell you that this Friday will be like no other CONTROL event that you have ever been to. The San Franciscan label known as dirtybird will be doing a full takeover of the mainstage at the Avalon in Hollywood with long, techy sets by label boss Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, and J.Phlip.
