Bon Iver Woods Zeds Dead Remix

Toronto kids Zeds Dead have always garnered my respect for taking some really dope songs from every depth of the musical spectrum and putting their own spin on it, each time cutting and editing samples and songs without being cheesy or overdone. Not an easy feat, let me tell you.

Just released yesterday is their remix of indie music king Bon Iver; after stumbling across what they once thought was lost to the depths of an old hard-drive, DC and Hooks blew off the dust and cleaned it up, and lucky for the world they’re giving away the newly-polished remix for free. Mixing together 8-bit sounds and their intelligently-wound wobbles and slides with Bon Iver’s haunting and sad vocals, Zeds Dead provides a remix that once again showcases both their signature sound and finesse for rewiring tracks.
