It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from Blatta & Inesha, but it looks like the guys have been hard at work in the studio refining their style and honing their edge as their upcoming release on BLOOD Music is absolute FIRE. Head label honcho Fake Blood has called the forthcoming two-track EP “one of [his] favorite Blood Music releases of the past while,” and Techno giant, Tiga, lends his big time support saying, “Could it be? Could I actually have gotten a dope promo…. I can step off the edge of this fucking cliff. LWTUA is great….I’ll play it for sure. Top support.”
We back the feedback from both of those guys 100%, as Low Will Tear Us Apart / East Side is one of the best releases we’ve heard in a while as well. Preview below and pick it up on February 3rd.
You might not think that living on the coast of Italy with your studio overlooking the Mediterranean would invoke you to make such sick, sadistic, and depraved Techno, but if you think this impossible then I think that you obviously don’t know Blatta & Inesha. I’ll let the below artist testimonials speak for the music, but I suggest you tell that bitch Siri inside your phone to set a reminder for August 27th, when you’ll finally be able to catch a glimpse of these warlocks in your Shopping Cart on Beatport via Bad Life.
Stream the EP from the artwork above (make sure to check my personal favorite little bass gremlin, Lights Over Phoenix) and keep reading after the jump to get more Blatta & Inesha, including an exclusive mixtape, from Gotta Dance Dirty.

For Part Deux of the Consign to Oblivion mixtapes we have another 30 mins of Techno mayhem mixed by B&I. The single, with post-apocalyptic remixes from Peo De Pitte and The Sneekers, is out today on U&A Recordings.
We’re just a short 7 months and change away from the End of the World, and our good friends Casino Gold and Blatta & Inesha are suggesting we all merely Consign to Oblivion. Their new collaborative single, Consign to Oblivion, will be out next Monday, May 7th, on U&A Recordings.
The brothers behind Casino Gold have put together this promotional mix to get us doomsday prepped for the release. It features some unreleased originals and some more techno rave weapons from the likes of Alex Metric, Brodinski, and more.
We’ll be back next Monday, the date of the release, with links to the EP and Part II of the Consign to Oblivion mix series curated by none other than Blatta & Inesha! Stay tuned. Track list after the jump…
To kick things off proper for the start of madness in the desert, VERSUS this week we’ll feature some heavy artillery to get your Coachella juices flowing. Making a stop on their US Tour, the Italian bad boys Blatta & Inesha will be gracing the decks for their second time. On top of that, we have the LA debut from the NY-based hood haus sounds of RL Grime. Supporting the night will be local heroes Matzerath (Dim Mak), Bangarang, and Zach V. Whether you’re going week one, week two, or not at all, come get your festival fix and forget about Friday morning.
With GDD favorites Blatta & Inesha‘s North American Spring tour already underway, yesterday the guys celebrated the release of their new single, Anatomy, off Dim Mak’s New Noise Vol. 2 compilation. With some mega upcoming gigs, including dates with Tommy Trash at Webster Hall in New York, stops in San Francisco, Mexico City, Washington D.C. with Mord Fustang, LA, and more, the tour is shaping up to be a success. Check out a video from the debut show of the tour, as well as the full Dim Mak compilation above, and then listen to a preview of Anatomy below. Last but not least, buy that bitch on Beatport!
Allow me if you will, to introduce the Brothers Matsuk, Luke and Zack, now and forever known to you as Casino Gold. If you’re on top of your shit and into future techno, or Techno Nouveau as our Italian friends Blatta & Inesha like to call it, then you’ll probably have heard of them. With a slew of stellar remixes in the last few months and some highly touted forthcoming releases their talent is set to really gain some attention in 2012. With imminent dates in Santa Cruz this weekend and both in and around Mexico City the next weekend they felt like bestowing a little gift upon the masses, and now you have 30 mins of fire to get you through humpday and on to the weekend.
Grab the mix right here, and read on after the break to hear some previews of their forthcoming tracks!
1. Modern; up to date.
2. New and different, often fashionably so.
Music is constantly changing, evolving, progressing. As we explored about a year ago – when debate erupted over our 2010 ‘Part V’ wrap-up – Techno isn’t a specific sound; Techno is a lifestyle, a dingy basement and a 6am sunrise, an attitude, and nothing right now is oozing this attitude quite like the sounds of Italian duo Blatta & Inesha.
They’ve coined their music “Techno Nouveau,” and here it is. True to form the mixing is spot-fucking-on, with my favorite transition clocking in just after the 37-minute mark, straight into their recent Dim Mak release Senegal.
GDD™ also wants you to help us help the artists help you. As of this writing, B&I are 89 ‘Likes’ away from 13,000 on Facebook, and recent collab partners and rising LA duo Casino Gold are closing in on 2,000. Help us push these numbers to the next level by reposting, sharing, tweeting, re-blogging this mix, etc., and GDD™ will release an exclusive firsthand preview of their new collab Consign to Oblivion, due out next year! Trust me, I have the full version and listened to it about 40 times last week! So get the mix (click the artwork above), and then get the track listing for this stellar mix after the jump.
Combining everything we love about searing, pounding Techno with the punk rock angst and energy of Electro of recent years, Blatta & Inesha have hit their stride in the last year and the catalog definitely reflects that.
With recent releases on Dim Mak Records, including Senegal and Dirty Knees (a collaboration with pals Mustard Pimp) a massive, banging techno remix of Meat Katie’sBizarre Is Beautiful and a pumping remix of Dilemn and Youthstar’s Better World (OUT TODAY) the guys are poised for take-off!
Have a listen to the tunes below and follow the purchase links below to Beatport. ‘Like’ the fellas on Facebook too so you can keep up on all their travels and tunes!
I remember when Blatta & Inesha came on to the scene back in 2009. They were dubbed by many at the time as the “next Crookers,” due to their banging Electro style and the fact that they are a duo from Italy. Since then, they’ve had releases on some of the heaviest hitting Electro labels in the game including Dim Mak, Lektroluv, Crux, and Lee Mortimer’s Wearhouse label. Well, Los Angeles, we are bringing the guys to you this week for a massive VS. event on the West Side along with support from DJ Shae B, Ben Oprstu, La Muerte, and Mr. Metronomo.
The event is FREE before 11PM, but you must RSVP at DANCEiSM.com.
