Pete and Spencer of Black Cards are digitally releasing a new EP titled Use Your Disillusion on Beatport and iTunes next Tuesday the 17th of July, and the guys have been kind enough to allow us to premiere the stream for one of the tracks from the release, ‘End Of Pretend feat. Matthew Koma.’ It’s a vocally-driven Electro House monster, and it’s safe to say that the guys’ grasp on producing Big Room Electro has been solidified after their success with multiple remixes for Major Lazer, Cobra Starship, and Example, as well as this anticipated new original EP. Keep an eye out next week for all of Use Your Disillusion.
We’re in for another fun one at Avalon in Hollywood this Friday. Atlanta’s Le Castle Vania will be coming back to CONTROL for another headline romp along with supporting sets from our good pal BetaTraxx, Black Cards, and GDD™‘s Bones and Burn Unit. Tons of fun. Tons of tunes.
Please email names to RSVP@gottadancedirty.com to be added to our discount guestlist for the evening. All names must be submitted by 5:30PM on Friday.

The new duo has included a multitude of good tunage in this first mix, including big time tracks from Afrojack to Porter Robinson to Dillon Francis, as well as a handful of remixes of their own.

It’s always fun to see musicians from bands that I listened to in high school coming around to the realm of dance music production. Sonny from From First To Last was reborn as Dubstep wonderboy, Skrillex. And now, Fall Out Boy‘s Pete Wentz and Hidden In Plain View/Saves The Day‘s Spencer Peterson have recently teamed up as Black Cards, already putting together a handful of catchy remixes for the likes of Major Lazer, Rihanna, Cobra Starship, and more. We’ll be giving you the world premiere of their first mixtape (as seen in image above) tomorrow morning, but have a first look today at their unreleased Big Room Electro remix of Cobra Starship’s #1Nite.
