Making one of his notorious stops to the decks of the Avalon, the hard hitting suavé Felix Cartal brings his Different Faces album tour to CONTROL this Friday. This time, he’s joined by big room electro phenom Clockwork and bass jackin’ veteran Bird Peterson. Supporting sets will be provided by DigitaLife and Billy Noorlag. With the momentum this tour has right now, and being April the 20th (we’ll just say), I wouldn’t wanna miss out on how hard, heavy, and hazy this one is gonna get. This event will reach capacity early, so please RSVP below and arrive before doors to guarantee entry!
Please email names to RSVP@gottadancedirty.com to be on our discount guestlist for the evening. All names must be submitted by 5PM on Friday.

ATTENTION ALL DIRTY DANCERS OF THE SUMMER!
This year we are amped to be joining forces once again with our good buddies in Collaborative Media and Dim Mak to bring you the 2011 Pacific Festival in Orange County. The makings of the answer to a ‘SoCal Outsidelands’, the Pacific Festival is putting together the perfect balance of summer music now in a proper location for all festival-goers. With a relocated festival site to Oak Canyon Ranch (recent location of Lightning In A Bottle) and a full day of music starting @ 10am, this year’s Pacific Fest is gonna show off the true summer festival atmosphere in its deserved setting. 2010 saw Will Eastman’s debut single, “Feelin’” reverberate on dance floors around the world. His work caught the attention of people all over the world and even landed on Fatboy Slim’s “Weapons of Choice” Beatport Chart and Kissy Sell Out’s BBC Radio One playlist.
This past week Eastman unleashed his follow-up single. This time he collaborated with fellow Washington, DC producer Micah Vellian and Baltimore emcee TT The Artist. The result is “No Sleep,” a vocal workout over a synthed-out funk groove.
Heavyweights Treasure Fingers and Bird Peterson deliver monster, peak time remixes, just as you’ve come to expect from them, while Lazaro Casanova brings a sexy late-night slow-burner. Loopjack (the alias of Toronto’s John Roman) comes with some Chicago flavor and Germany’s Tagteam Terror pump things up with their high-energy mix. For the Dub mix Eastman and Vellian take the Original back to 1984 with some Axle Foley action.
Soundcloud + Free Exclusive download of one of the “No Sleep” remixes after the Jump. I promise you the remix is complete fire!
Man this week is stacked with events and giveaways, but I don’t think there is such a thing as giving too much good stuff away, so GDD™ will be giving 5 (yes 5!) pairs of tickets away for Into The AM this Saturday at The Grove of Anaheim with JFK, Harvard Bass, and Bird Peterson. To enter to win, please head on over to our FACEBOOK PAGE and write down your social security number on our wall. Alright folks, this week is a big one. Allies crew member and DMC Champion Klever will be on the turntables giving you a show like you’ve never seen (unless you saw him wreck it a few months ago at CONTROL). On top of that, Bird Peterson will be in the house delivering some delectable downright dirty sounds to your ears. AND on top of that, GDD favorites Pance Party will be making a greatly appreciated trek from San Francisco to drop some big ones as well. As always ///BONES will be rocking The House Party along with our friends Zander (Santa Barbara) and SweatPants.
Again, this is going to be a massive night so make sure you RSVP at JONAHDANCESDIRTY@GMAIL.COM so you can get on the discount ticket list for 10$.
And of course some preview goodies before Friday for y’all:
