“Reverse Skydiving” by Hot Natured (featuring deep house vixen Anabel Englund) has been burning up dance floors this festival & conference season. And, with a recent batch of top notch remixes (featured HERE last month), “Reverse Skydiving” shows no signs of slowing down. While the original & early remixes offered up a sultry, more noir-ish tone, the hot-off-the-press Benoit & Sergio remix offers up a much more playful feel. If there’s one version of “Reverse Skydiving” that can carry the tune right into Summer, it’s the Benoit & Sergio remix. This one’s got rooftop pool party written all over it.
GDD’s own Tropicool delivers a warm musical mosaic comin’ in hot & bothered sure to tickle the fruit of your loins and tease the audible palate with euphoric tones, smooth rhythms, & sexy funk. Whether your pouring warm cream over them curvaceous twin nippily peaks or dripping hot wax all over that sweet, sultry V, these hand-crafted, carefully selected tunes will metamorphasize you into a modern day Don Juan El Capitãn. Be careful, they may fall in love.

Founded by the supergroup consisting of Seth Troxler (biggup on getting the #1 spot on the RA Poll today), Ryan Crosson, Lee Curtiss, and Shaun Reeves, the independent imprint has played home to EPs from some of the best names in Deep/Tech House including Benoit & Sergio, Guy Gerber, Tale of Us, and more, but last month saw the first album release as a collaboration between VQ’s Ryan Crosson and Cadenza‘s Cesar Merveille.
In my chat with Crosson about the DRM project, he talks about how the partnership came about, struggling through 27 versions of one song on the album, and how its good to be unrestrained in the studio… Continue Reading
It’s time to set the mood for the upcoming months with the next installment of my bi-annual/seasonal mixtape series: aRod’s FallGaze 2012 Mix. The mixtape is chock full of lustful indie grooves, steamy disco + deep, sleazy house. Hot tracks from heavy hitters like Anna Lunoe, Disclosure and Van She along with some unreleased heaters from Benoit & Sergio, MANIK feat. Jeremy Glenn and Sure Thing…this mix should keep you warm and electrified from Fall all the way through Winter.
