It’s been a year since Bart B More released the devastating single Traction, a chart topper in 2011 with massive support from such greats like Boys Noize, Zombie Nation and Tiga. With only hints at the remixes teased in his signature mixtapes, the Traction Remixes EP finally dropped today on Bart’s label Secure Recordings. If you thought the original was enough, the remixes are through the roof – including successfully eclectic versions by the German TAI (our favorite), Dutch Baskerville and Norwegian Funkin Matt. Check them out below, and don’t forget to support the Traction Remixes EP on Beatport!
TAI will be releasing his ever-buzzing collaboration with Steve Aoki next month on Dim Mak Records, and after a successful remix competition for the Lose Yourself EP, TAI has put together a big time Electro mix featuring a plethora of heavy hitting tracks from Bart B More, Crookers, Afrojack, and more. He’s also included a rework of ‘Lyposuct’ that I’m particularly fond of towards the beginning of the mix, so make sure to pay close attention to that one. Download below! Continue Reading
This one is for all the GDD love!
After over a year of being one of Harvard Bass & Bart B More‘s secret weapons, Boys Noize Records own D.I.M. has given us the personal green light to release his private remix of ‘Listen To This’ in all its 320 glory. Resurrect the big tune in your sets with this sinister version. NOIZE.
As if the collaborations between artists couldn’t get any better, Fools Gold chief A-Trak and our favorite moombah-boy wonder Dillon Francis break the limits. The two busy producers have teamed up to bring you ‘Money Makin’,’ an upbeat disco vibed mix that is sure to be heard across festivals and pool parties all summer long. Remember how Bart B More and Harvard Bass brought you ‘The Funky One‘? Yup, we’re goin’ that groove again.
To kick things off for my residency @ the infamous Dim Mak Studios (aka Dim Mak Tuesdays) in 2012, I have created a new mixtape to get you all hyped for the year to come. I’ve packed it with several of the artists that DMS has hosted and some of the upcoming talent, as well as some of my own forthcoming releases and friends too! So grab ahold of the new year with this boomer, and I hope to see you all on Tuesdays @ Dim Mak Studios.

A couple months ago, our buddy Bart B More came through Los Angeles for a few dates at Drai’s Hollywood, Dim Mak Studios, and the Yost Theater as a part of his fall tour through the US. GDD™ was able to team up with our good friends at Dim Mak for all three of these events, and it was an absolute blast. Accompanying Bart throughout this tour was his videographer, Mark Loonen, who has been putting together some outstanding videos featuring footage from Bart’s travels and appearances. This latest one from Mark is insightful and artistic; truly highlighting Bart’s stance on his music, his fans, and what this business is all about. We’re looking forward to welcoming Bart back to the West Coast this month as he’ll be playing CONTROL at the Avalon in Hollywood on the 25th.
