Earlier this week, London clubbing connoisseurs Together announced plans for their new weekly at legendary Ibiza superclub Amnesia. The night’s called “Tonight”, and will see residents Eric Prydz and Annie Mac joined by some major EDM heavyweights every tuesday between June 21 and September 6. Already creating a buzz among clubgoers, “Tonight” is one of the most eagerly anticipated residencies on the White Isle this summer. Scope the lineups, together with comments from Annie Mac and Eric Prydz after the jump.

Isn’t there a saying that the best things come in 3′s? Either way, another huge CONTROL tripleheader is being held this Friday at the Avalon in Hollywood, with the return of the lovely Annie Mac, as well as performances by two artists who have both already had an absolutely smashing 2010; the unpredictable Englishman, Doorly, and the mysterious and intriguing man from Naples, Riva Starr. Expect to hear an eclectic mix of the world’s best dance music, including more than a few tunes that you probably have never heard before. Also, make sure to stop by the GDD™ House Party room, located to the right of the main stage in between the stage and the smoking alley. We’ll be having some fun in there as well.
930 – 1030 Brazzabelle
1030 – 12 Doorly
12 – 130 Annie Mac
130 – 3 / 330 Riva Starr
3 / 330 – close Alex Khadiwala
It’s no secret that the body rattling genre of dubstep has re-emerged into the ears of dirty dancers worldwide (I say re-emerged because ‘dub/breakbeat’ has been around longer than you). So, when I bring up the name Doorly, you should get a little tingly in your stomach, as his remixes of Calvin Harris & The Temper Trap are top-shelf spiritual endeavors. He delivers two remixes by Riton & Primary 1‘s ‘Who’s There’, because he loved the song so much, just one rendition wasn’t going to cut it. And if you’re still not satisfied, he recorded a ferocious 5-minute minimix for Miss Annie Mac over at BBC1. OK, so there’s one downfall. The tracks are 128kbps, so instead of buying another PBR for your best breaux tonight, purchase the songs over at beatport/itoonz if you’re so inclined.
