Sweat It Out!
Anna Lunoe is dominating right now. The slick remixes for her hit single are out (featuring remixes by Treasure Fingers, Cosmos Midnight, Danny T, Sleepy Tom & Wordlife). Her clothing line is fly. Her artwork is dope (I obviously haven’t updated my vernacular since “In Living Color”). And her new video for “Breathe” is a smashing success.
Today we’re featuring the ultra bad-ass Treasure Fingers remix of “Breathe”. Treasure Fingers flexes some serious dancefloor muscle with this booming Miami Bass/Freestyle remix. Serious pop n’ lock vibes.
November friends! This weekend, I travel up to San Francisco to play at Harlot alongside our favorite lady DJ, Anna Lunoe. To get the festivities started, we bring you to our second edition of the not-so-serious GDD Quick-hitter interview. Instead of the textbook bullroar, we asked Anna (5) questions on the lighter side, giving you a down-to-earth response from the climbing aussie DJ and producer… just for the jokes.
GDD: What was the first dance/electronic song you heard growing up?
AL: Underworld “Born Slippy” is a song that I remember getting very strong feelings for at a really young age. I had probably heard some early nineties pop house like Rhythm of the NIght etc before that but I remember the chords of Born Slippy really pulling me in and then the drop was so straight tough – made me appreciate the magic of repetitive loud music. A great life lesson.
GDD: Before producing/DJing what did you see yourself doing/becoming?
AL: I wanted to interview musicians on the radio and tv. Classic shadow creative move.
GDD: Most embarrassing moment at a gig you played?
AL: I cant think of anything major but thats not to say it hasnt happened. I probably just blocked it out… CDs stopping and stuff like that isn’t even embarrassing to me so It would need to be somekind of fall or something but (knock on wood) It hasn’t happened yet….
GDD: If you could go b2b with any celebrity who would it be?
AL: It’s a toss up between Beyonce, Rajon Rondo and Paul Rudd.
GDD: Name one thing you love about San Francisco…. and are you excited for this weekend’s show @ Harlot?
AL: Every show i have ever done in san fran has pretty much ruled so Djing is my favorite thing to do there. A bad san fran show cannot happen. I wont allow it. I can’t wait!
*Don’t miss Anna Lunoe w/ Bones, this Saturday 11/16 @ Harlot San Francisco!

Timing couldn’t be more perfect for another installment from our friends over at Solé Bicycles to drop off another fixtape. Anna Lunoe has created a timeless & moody mix for the transient seasons as summer is ending and the nights are getting colder. Chill out and warm up, this one is for the soul.
After a short hiatus over the summer, The Magician is back in action with the 35th installment of his very popular Magic Tape series. As usual, he’s kept his track list undisclosed, but thanks to some well-versed Soundcloud fans, we know that The Magician has included new ones from Medlar, Skream, Anna Lunoe, Luxury, and more. Glad to have Magic Tapes back in my life. √+

What a BIG week for our chum Anna Lunoe. Tonight she kicks off a North American Fall tour in support of The Weeknd and last week her vocals were featured on “Time Drips,” a new release by Eric Sharp on Win Records. As an artist who wears many hats, Anna Lunoe should be the perfect fit to warm up the eclectic Weeknd crowds all across North America. From downtempo to deep shit to jackin’ house to bangers, whatever those diverse crowds require, Anna will be sure to bring it. And speaking of bangers, Anna’s big week continues with her brand new release enttitled “Breathe”. ”Breathe” finds Anna dipping into Stuart Price/Jacques Lu Cont/Thin White Duke/Paper Faces territory with a style worthy of Mr. Price’s classic + smooth yet hard hitting club sound. It’s a CLUBBANGA!
“Breathe” is out today via Fools Gold/Ultra. Grab a copy + catch Anna Lunoe, Banks & The Weeknd in a city near you.
Anna, we’re lookin’ forward to you Instagrammin’ the shit out of your fantastic Fall voyage…
With the sultry vocals of Anna Lunoe and a funky fresh bass line, we are in love with this new track from Eric Sharp! Out on 9/3 on Win Records the 3 Track ‘Sharp Cuts EP’ has us on the edge of our seats to see what else Eric has in store, but if it’s anything like the first track we can’t wait for September 3rd. Dig it below!
Main Course maestro, Astronomar, just sent over the latest offering from his newly launched label last night — a 2-track EP from Italian producer His Majesty Andre who is showcasing a new style and sound via this release. The A-side “Sunshine” features the beautiful vocals of GDD™ favorite Anna Lunoe, and don’t be confused by the song title as HMA and Anna have brought “Sunshine” into a dark place with deep bass and filters ready for the club. “Moonlight” serves as the flip side of the release, and once again His Majesty Andre goes with a deep, jacking bassline that rolls it’s way through the track. Main Course has said that this is their best release so far, and I wouldn’t disagree with that claim whatsoever. Pick it up on Beatport.
