I’ve always spoken of Amtrac’s ability to release killer tracks at an alarming rate, but this is just getting ridiculous.  Coming off of a track for Acura and the official release of his “Those Days VIP” mix, we’re now getting this rewokring of “Paradigm.”  Amtrac’s “Temptation” mix is certainly that, featuring an absolutely infectious-yet-simple melody, perfect vox sampling and that upbeat house vibe we’ve come to expect from the producer.  Stream this one now, and prepare for whatever comes next from this guy.

Amtrac has proven himself to be one of the sickest and most versatile producers around.  From the heavier side of house tracks, to more progressive ones like today’s release, this guy can do it all.  His latest is called “Broadway,” and it definitely showcases a softer side of the producer.  Simple vocal samples play along with a light and airy synth arrangement, making for a really pleasant track.  This was made for — of all things — a playlist for Acura, which also includes tracks from Plastic PlatesBit Funk and more.  Download the whole collection below.

Well Amtrac continues to release tracks at an alarming rate.  His latest comes as an official remix for Swedish House by-product super duo Axwell Λ Ingrosso.  Coming just 10 days after the release of “Truly,” this “Somthing New” remix offers a super cool, spacey vibe.  A classic Amtrac bass line lays the foundation for the vocals to do what they do.  Get stoked to see what else this guys whips up in the studio in the coming months.

Fresh off an appearance at the legendary BPM Festival and string of massive remixes, Amtrac is back once again with a free tune.  It’s a tall order to follow up the successes he had in his edits for Alesso and Shakka, but this original track really hits the spot.  Simplistic in its sampling, “Truly” lets a massive bassline and eerie melody speak for themselves.  This one’s suited for late night, underground occasions, so lights off and speakers up.

November has been very kind to Amtrac fans.  A handful of remixes and a collaboration track with Kastle have kept his name in the house headlines during the past month and, with another remix released today, he shows no signs of slowing.  His latest endeavor is a remix of Wolfgang Gartner’s single “Unholy,” and the bassline certainly does the title justice.  This bouncy remix quickly takes the track from the radio waves to the underground — look out for it’s official release on December 1.

After becoming the most talked about party in Los Angeles, AC Slater‘s NIGHT BASS movement set out on a 12 dates in 12 days tour with bass house heavyweights Jack Beats, Hannah Wants, Kry Wolf and the man himself. The tour was a success in every city they invaded, but something special was planned for its LA date this past Friday, October 10th. AC Slater teamed up with HARD to bring together one massive event in the warehouse district of downtown Los Angeles, where the infamous Lot 613 was set to play home to the festivities. With the help of Gary Richards and the HARD team, NIGHT BASS quickly became the hype of the weekend and sold out before the night even started.

Room 1 featured the tour lineup, along with NIGHT BASS residents BONES & Petey Clicks. They got things started quickly, as the room filled up and packed out within the first hour. The much anticipated Hannah Wants came after with a huge set, followed by the chief AC Slater bringing it heavy and Jack Beats keeping the energy so alive it was literally spilling out of the room. Capping off the night was a secret set from Kry Wolf, who let his jackin vibes speak for themselves as the night went into the early morning.

Along with the tour lineup, AC brought in friends to take care of room 2: Anna Lunoe, Treasure Fingers, Amtrac, Light Year and Jen Lasher to the rescue. Room 2 was equally slammed, a wider room layout but just as crazy as it’s heavier neighbor. Only in LA can so many incredible artists happen to be in the same town on multiple tour schedules that culminate to one massive experience. The hype was so real that other big names in dance music couldn’t stay away. The likes of Boys Noize, Nadastrom, Kaskade, GTA, Destructo, Jauz, Brazzabelle, and even Valentino Khan‘s mustache we’re all in attendance.

The NIGHT BASS movement proved that it’s hear to stay, and its home is in Los Angeles. The tour dominated its 12 show routing across the US, and looks forward to continuing its monthly series here in LA along with new tours and festival stages in the works… be on the lookout for live set recordings from the whole night and more info on upcoming events!

After being named as one of Boomrat’s Top 50 Emerging artists, Amtrac is well on his way to becoming one of this year’s most consistent producers. His take on RAC’s Cheap Sunglasses, which features the catchy vocal licks of Matthew Koma, sees him skimming the waters of a progressive landscape, tipping the hat to early Kaskade and deadmau5 productions. There are euphoric moments driven by his classy chord progression and energetic arps, but they’re laced with a bit of melancholy from waning strings and moody pads. It’s no wonder that he’s gearing up to provide support for Kygo on tour this Fall, and I don’t think it’ll be long before we see him headlining tours of his own.

Great tracks are often swept under the rug, dismissed, and forgotten. It seems that now more than ever, there are heaps of tracks that are given a second chance after being scooped up by bigger labels. We caught up with Amtrac, who is having his 2012 hit ‘Those Days’ re-released on the legendary Toolroom imprint.
