I’m not sure what’s been up with me lately, but I can’t seem to get enough French house. Thanks to Ben Thomas, aka L’Étranger, my needs have been satisfied for the time being. This morning, he put out this awesome rework of an Alan Braxe & Fred Falke collaboration, “Most Wanted.” With the addition of more electro-type sounds and his “French touch,” L’Étranger did a great job in putting a different feel to the track. Check it out and download after the jump.

Parisian French Touch extraordinaire, Lifelike, has bequeathed an absolutely epic hour long mix full of French Touch classic jams for us this morning. It’s a gift that’s so good you would never even know to ask for it. You can tell that Lifelike really put some thought into this one and made sure to include the people responsible for the French Touch takeoff — including a handful of tracks from Bangalter‘s famous Roulé imprint as well as groovers from Fafa Monteco, Alan Braxe, and Paul Johnson.

Synth-pop duo, Kids At Midnight, just released their latest EP, Let You Slide, on Monday on Braxe’s Vulture Music. Comprised of two originals, ‘Let You Slide’ and ‘No No Yeah,’ this EP caught the ear of the French Touch master, Alan Braxe, and it’s easy to see why. Light, sweeping synths and melodic vocals from KAM’s Jane Elizabeth Hanley are unbelievably pleasant — making me wish I was on the beach with a tropical drink in Southeastern Australia. Have a listen to my favorite track off of the EP below and grab the exclusive mix ‘Songs For Dancers & Lovers’ after the jump.

“Too Much MIDI (Please Forgive Me)” is a track off the ambitious album Channel Pressure by strange pop/prog wave band Ford & Lopatin.  The track, like the album, meticulously splices together various elements of Krautrock, 80s funk, glitch, new wave & synth pop.  If Prince & New Order got asked to team up & record the theme to the original Miami Vice, the end result would have been “Too Much MIDI (Please Forgive Me)”.

On the remix end, Alan Braxe brilliantly takes the track into deeper, euphoric, filter disco territory. Mr. Braxe sure is good like that, isn’t he? Be sure to check out the entire Channel Pressure Remixes album available October 18th on Software.

They are groovy, flowing, and sun-kissed just like that perfect wave. They are uplifting and guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Los Angeles based electro three piece Human Life, have just dropped their first release on the French label Boxon Records, entitled ‘We Won’t Stop’. I got my mits on this track a while back, but have finally got it approved for posting, which is nice because I predict this to be a huge Spring banger. 2010 looks to be a big year for Human Life, with releases in the pipeline on Alan Braxe‘s Vulture label, as well as the release of the In It Together EP, which features remixes from Acid Girls, Norwegian Disco-House outfit: Pelifics, and BBC Radio 1‘s Andy George & Jaymo.

Absolute fire…You can purchase the full EP HERE.
