After playing an outstanding set at HARD Day of the Dead, Kastle dropped a mix of his more club-friendly selections as a preview for the rest of his Fall tour dates. Featuring tracks from Friend Within, Youan, Blonde, French Fries, and Phazz, amongst others, the mix easily qualifies a must-listen. As per usual, the Symbols Recordings founder is on point.
Tour Dates and Tracklist:
All different walks of life converged in Oakdale, California over the weekend during the Autumnal Equinox for Symbiosis Gathering; a period of time where the balance between the light and dark inside you, and around you, dances in harmony one last time. As the impending Winter slowly overpowers the days of Summer, thousands gathered at the Woodward Reservoir for a festival that was much more about a way of life, than it was music. With a deep passion for Environmentalism and sustainable living, the festival organizers provided a space that allowed for transformative experiences in the realms of art, music, and community. Brain stimulation ran rampant throughout the different activities scheduled throughout the five days of “Symbi,” as it came to be called. Continue Reading

After a month of anticipation since this anthem debuted on Radio 1, Russ Chimes has leaked the full version on his Soundcloud. The timing of this release is perfect as it is sure to be the cut to kickstart your weekend spirit and take you exactly where you need to go after a long week. At first listen it seems like a very basic track, but that’s because Russ Chimes has stripped it down to the bare essentials. The vocals electrify the bouncing bass line while the four on the floor beat takes you home. Set to be released on Deconstruction/Columbia Records April 29th, it represents his first moves in 2013 following up his hit single “Back 2 You” in 2012.
